Overall, the stay was "ok" 7/10. Positives: staff were great and accommodating. Location is great and you can walk to nearby restaurants. Opportunities: Cleaning- hair in the shower and on the duvet. Old stain under the bed. Pillows are like mush and need to be replaced. Rates were inflated for the game which was expected but could have at least included breakfast. Also, the TV signal kept going in and out which is very frustrating!

I called weeks before my check in date to change my room from a queen to two doubles. I was told notes would be made and accommodated the day of. I pre paid for my room so I had a zero balance. Upon checking in the double beds were not given initially and it took a while for the manager to make the changes . I didn’t like being held up at the counter making it look as if I was unprepared and did not try to avoid this hold up. The manager was able to correct it. Then I was surprised to see a need to pay for a parking pass. On the Hilton site for booking this hotel offered free parking. The manager offered me a courtesy parking pass to make up for the check in issue but still what’s the purpose for the fee there’s plenty of parking and it’s not like they have a courtesy officer to protect our vehicles. The manager offered was nice and helpful throughout the stay. The exit experience was offsetting, I messaged the app 2am and 5am asking for a later check out I received no response. I call down at 10am and as soon as I ask the morning was rude and was like “no I can’t give anymore” indicating she had already given out extensions. Mind you I asked for an extension at 2am and 5am. I go downstairs to start taking my luggage to the car around 10:30 and move my car to the side door to make it easier to bring the rest of my items down and the front staff turned my card off . Mind you when I came she’s sitting at the front counter on her phone . So I had to walk all the way around to have her turn my card back on. I believe she deliberately turned the card off. It be your own people sometimes. I get the rest of my items and leave . While putting everything on my phone I get a message on my chat from Hilton saying my extension could be approved for 30 mins which was all I needed initially. So either the staff at the front heard my voice and just automatically said no just because . Either way it goes I felt like she was discriminating and being disrespectful.
