*Hilton Honors Member & Google Maps Master Review* Good Value - But $22 Parking (not Valet) & Front Desk Staff Member BOTH Need To Go Last nights overnight stay was just OK - low shower water temp, new high parking fee, and RUDE front desk agent. Brunette, with glasses and freckles sitting and absorbed in her ‘work’ didn’t even stand up, didn’t greet me, not warm / welcoming when I went to check out from my stay. Instead, she ‘instructed me’ where I could park the luggage cart when I returned it to the front desk “it goes out in the foyer” she said pointing her finger. Yikes! When I asked her about being rude, she tried to say ‘she thought I was asking her where the cart went’ - really?!? Then why didn’t you warmly apologize for the mis-communication and smooth things over? Then she was quick to abruptly say “I will email your receipt” as if to say ‘this interaction is OVER’ when I wasn’t even getting heated at all just asking where her rudeness was coming from? To Management: I am former Diamond Member - I know the Hilton Standards for Guest Service. This isn’t it. Reprimand or Dismiss. She is not representing the Brand. On the contrary, The R-Bar Staff Member from the Cape Town area of Africa was a pleasure to interact with! 💛

Front desk staff was the worst I have ever experienced. Upon checking in Esmerelda never made eye contact with me. I had questions about the cost of the room and she basically dismissed me, then advised I had to go outside and pay for parking. We paid for our parking after finding out how on our own. Turns out we did not have to pay, but register our car. She told us to take it up wifh our bank to get our money back. Upon checking out I waited at least five minutes since no ond was at the desk. I saw the young lady stockkng the store and let her know I had questions about our bill. She was anmoyed immediatedly and basically told me there wss nothing I could do about our mix up on our bill. I asked for a manager. He was nice but did not accomodate us on the isdue either. To the staff: I was gifted the rooms by a family member. I had just buried my brother thecday before this trip. Please train your staff to be curteous. They are a reflection of your hotels. You never know what people are going through. I will not stay here again

I was extremely disappointed with my stay. The hotel room had black mold all around the air vent, which is a serious health hazard. I showed photos to the front desk staff, and even they acknowledged how dangerous it was. Despite this, I was told they could not move us to another room because it would cost more than what I had already paid. That response was unacceptable. I was traveling with two small children and was not willing to risk their health. Because the hotel refused to accommodate us, I had no choice but to leave and book another hotel nearby. This caused me to lose time and money due to their lack of responsibility and concern for guest safety. I have photos and videos documenting the issue and am considering legal action. The way this situation was handled was unprofessional and careless. Management should be ashamed of how guests are treated under these conditions.

Here's my feedback. 1. Why do I need to pay $20 a night to park in a regular parking spot that has a sign that states you are not responsible for any theft? If I'm paying an outrageous amount for parking, then I should know that my vehicle is safe. 2. The shower door won't stay closed 3. The faucet in the shower just keeps spinning and you have to figure out where to stop to turn the water off. 4. The hot water faucet handle on the sink is backwards. 5. We had to call the front desk to get the TV to work and I had to unplug the TV and the box to reset and it still didn't work. It finally started working about 30 minutes after we arrived. 6. The R Bar restaurant has horrible services and skimpy portions. We waited over 30 minutes to get a salad that was supposed to have turkey on it but what we received was about a spoonful of turkey lunchmeat

My family and I have been staying at this hotel for over 10 years, sometimes multiple times per year, as we enjoy Cowboy games and other events at AT&T Stadium. We've always enjoyed our experience, especially the food and beverage staff, as we've gotten to know them over the years. This year's stay, unfortunately, was different. There have been drastic changes to this hotel that any returning guests should know about. 1) The hotel is charging $20 parking per car, per night. In our situation, with three people driving in to meet up for the weekend, that is $240 in parking. Unreal. 2) The diamond member lounge has been closed. 3) The breakfast buffet is gone. Breakfast has been moved into the R Bar, and it is overpriced. $15-18 per plate for breakfast. 4) There is no complementary cup of coffee. Every Hilton I have stayed in has coffee out in the Lobby for early risers. If you want a cup of coffee at the Hilton Arlington, you will pay $4.33. 5) The R Bar used to be a great place to gather at night to watch games. This year, their TV systems could not accommodate the NFL Thursday Night Football game. I guess it's outdated and can't load Prime and other sports apps. All in all, it's a nice hotel. But it has changed significantly and is not the experience it used to be. Sports fans like us will no longer enjoy this place like they used to. I'll be moving to the Hilton Garden Inn or another hotel where I can get complimentary coffee and free parking for all my future ATT Stadium trips. My coffee cup made me laugh.... "Sip, Savor, and Repeat"... for $4.33 per cup.
