Welcome to the Candlewood Suites South in Aransas Pass, Texas!
There are a lot of commercial and port industry projects in the works in our area so make your reservations if you will be working long term. We are in a great location along the Harbor with immediate access to the beach, ferry, and Port of Corpus Christi projects. We are close to Kiewit Offshore, GCGV Exxon, The Midway Windfarm, OXY, Harbor Island, Cheniere & Bechtel.
While staying at our hotel in Aransas Pass visit this beach town's attractions. Have dinner at one of the local, fresh seafood restaurants. Go for a guided fishing expedition. Take the ferry to Port Aransas and have lunch on the beach. Or take a drive across the Bay to visit downtown Corpus Christi.
Have dinner with friends at any of our excellent restaurants with a water view such as Redfish Willies or Fisherman's Cove. We also recommend the Butter Churn.
You can also enjoy our services like the 24-hour business center, complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi, flexible meeting space, and free coffee 24-hours in the Candlewood Cupboard. - TTTylerOct 15, 20251.0Avoid this hotel! I booked here recently via a third party booking site. Prior to completing the reservation I called the front desk of Candlewood Suites Aransas Pass to inquire if booking directly through them would get me a better rate. The employee asked what the rate was and who it was through and said he couldn’t beat it, and that I should just book online. When I got to the hotel I showed the girl at the front desk my paid in full reservation. She couldn’t find it in the system. She told me they had plenty of rooms open though. So I asked if she could just book me a room and honor the price I paid online, and that I would deal with getting my money back from the company I booked through. She was less than helpful and wouldn’t do it. She wouldn’t get a manager on the phone until I insisted. The manager basically told me they didn’t care and that I should go book elsewhere. The price difference was about $60 a night but the manager acted like it would bankrupt them if they honored that price. Ultimately I still ended up booking my stay with them at full price. The manager was quite rude and made no concessions to even try remedying the situation. Some of the worst customer service and hospitality I’ve experienced. To make it even better, when I called their corporate number after my stay they assigned me a case number and said they would look into it… they never called me back and I’ve gotten nowhere with them. As far as the hotel, they don’t offer maid service unless you’re staying for a long time, the hallways are dimly lit and have a mildew smell, and the bed was not comfortable.

We personally had interactions with Courtney (front desk manager), Justin(night front desk), and last but not least , Roshan (GM) . They made our stay awesome ! We stayed here for the whole last week of August 2025 . Awesome job guys !

The grill area which is open 24 hours was a perfect way to end our evening together grilling and sitting outside together. Everything you need. Equipped kitchen and necessities. Short drive to take the ferry and go to the beach and very nice place to fish really close to the hotel. Did I mention free laundry available? Don’t think it gets better than that.
