Missing trim pieces and a broken shower step in the bathroom to name a couple. Breakfast isn’t your typical, powdered eggs, prepackaged muffins and a waffle maker style for a free hotel breakfast.

Public comments made by a front office staff member, Jessica Tenorio, in response to the Minnesota street killing today were shocking, callous, and completely inappropriate. At best they showed reckless disregard for a violent loss of life. At worst they reflected something far more disturbing. Either way, there is no excuse. What makes this even worse is the brand’s silence. No statement. No clarification. No accountability. Given this company’s track record of repeatedly aligning itself on the wrong side of the fence, I have little confidence they will care or act unless forced to by public pressure. When a business tolerates behavior like this from its staff, especially in a public forum, it speaks volumes about the culture behind the scenes. I will not support a brand that appears indifferent to violence or comfortable allowing such behavior to stand. Others should take note before giving this company their money.
