Woke up to bed bugs crawling on me.
When I informed the front desk that, they moved me to a new room, but didn't even offer an apology. I asked if they were willing to take care of my laundry expenses at least, the night auditor said that the manager will give me a call in the morning. The next day: no call.
I was staying here for work, working sun up to sun down every day. I didn't have the time to track down an absent GM and I wasn't going to get any help from the night auditor who did the bare minimum. When I checked out I asked once again for some type of remedy for being in a bed bug ridden room, they said the manager will give me a call. It's been nearly a week and I still havent received a call or email from a manager.
I understand that bed bugs happen and that's just part of running a hotel. I worked in hotels, and now I stay in hotels for work. The ONLY remedy I wanted was for the hotel to wash my laundry or cover my laundry expenses because I was working extremely long hours. They risked spreading the infestation to other rooms by not insisting that my luggage be cleaned.
After this experience, I cannot imagine what other disgusting, negligent practices is standard for this hotel.

Booked two rooms traveling with family for one night. Rooms not together but on same floor. One room’s bathroom was filthy. Grime and dried urine on the floor. Other room was missing all the lamps by the couch and the chair. Tile floors buckling and loose. Bathtub/shower drain clogged And toilet runs all night broken won’t flush. Indoor hot tub (by the pool) was also out of order. Elevator seems to be on last leg. No bueno Holiday Inn!

Breakfast items were barely warm each day, benches in front of building were littered with cigarette buts and various beverage bottle caps ( unsightly ), and the toilet continously cycled with a whistling sound

We arrived here, the man that worked the night shift with long hair in a bun was very nice! There was a beetle in the bathroom. Blood spot on the shower curtain. The toilet lid shifted every time we sat on sat on it. I don’t feel comfortable letting anyone to clean our room, but we were out of towels and asked the lady with the cart to clean our room. With that being said, my main problem was, I feel my jewelry box was gone through, I was missing a costume ring that an older lady had given me, and 2 earrings. We were there for a family gathering, so we would get in late. Normally we got up, ate breakfast and come back to the room to get ready. I didn’t shower that last morning or I would’ve had a fit in the motel lobby. I had purchased a bottle of perfume, and it was missing. Either from the day that we let them clean our room, which was only towels and trash. Didn’t make our bed. Or the morning before we left while at breakfast, there was a woman with a cart, who knew we had just came out of our room. I called and supposedly I was to get a return call. Never heard anything. Our family had a block of rooms, so next time we gather, it will not be here. I’m extremely disappointed, because when you pay $700 for 4 days, and being a ‘holiday inn’ you expect better! The elevator is a little sketchy. The ladies in the breakfast area, were very nice. I wish I had taken a picture of the beetle.
