My wife and I had an amazing stay on New Year’s Eve, with only two issues. The $98 upgrade from a standard room to the Presidential Suite was well worth it. The room was beautifully appointed and spotless, thanks to housekeeping. The hotel itself was incredibly clean, and the air-scent diffusers were a nice touch.
The evening reception and breakfast were both enjoyable. Our only complaints were that the sauna was not operational during our visit, and the pool and hot tub could have used additional cleaning and a chemical check.
Otherwise, everything else was outstanding.

This was a horrible experience to receive from an Embassy Suites. Less than sub+par. Arrival and check in was easy but being a Saturday evening after Thanksgiving it was considerably busy. The room was clean, and roomy for our 1 year to crawl around. Everything was in working order and the furniture was comfortable. We settled in and ordered room service. EVERYTHING went downhill from there. Since I couldn't find a direct line to room service I had to call the front desk to be transferred. I placed an order for 3 different sandwiches and chicken strips for our munchkin, all with fries. The food arrived approx 30ish minutes later, which is what we were told.
After removing the domes on all the plates it was apparent that my meal was not handled with care as I had the beef sandwich with au jus. My plate was on top of another so the au jus had spilled all over my plate and the plate under it, and because there are vent holes in the domes, some of my au jus got onto my partners food. Not to mention my food was now marinating in a pool of au jus. I quickly scooped up my soggy sandwich and started eating. It did not taste well at all but got down half of it before I realized that the bread was burnt and the 'shaved prime rib' was more like beef jerky. I couldn't eat the other half of my sandwich. My fries were inedible as they were now soggy from the au jus. The turkey club was no better than I could have made at home. The fries were not fully cooked as some of them were still firm. Our daughter's chicken strips were surprisingly perfect but again, her fries were undercooked. The chicken parm panini was horrible. The bread was not toasted so the sauce absorbed into the bread making it very soggy. Then there was the chicken that looked like it was fried two weeks ago and then heated in the microwave. Needless to say, the only things that were edible was our daughter's chicken strips and the turkey club (barely). We notified the kitchen manager who was very apologetic, asked if we wanted replacements and then comped our $75 meal.
The rest of our evening went smoothly until just before midnight when a few older kids were running and yelling up and down the hall. It's a hotel, what do you expect. However, the frustrating part of it was it would wake our daughter. I had to turn her sound machine up to drown the noise.
In the morning, we got up to start our last day of travel and wanted to get a good breakfast in before we headed out. The hotel details on the Hilton website states they have a made-to-order breakfast. To our surprise, breakfast was buffet style and it was made to order eggs only. The bagels were wet for some reason and there was nothing labeled for the flavors. I ended up with a garlic or onion bagel, that once toasted, dried out because they were wet.
After all the disappointment from the food service, we decided to go ahead and check out. We went to grab a luggage cart to take to our room but they all said reserved for bellman only. Returning to our room, we called for a bellman and cart only to be told we have to get the cart ourselves. We asked for our itemized bill at checkout only to find out our dinner was NOT comped and the clerk had to get authorization from the food manager. She took a cell phone to a back room and closed the door to contact the food manager. After a few minutes she came back out and said he didn't answer. She said she would wait to check us out until the manager called back. We asked for a supervisor and she said they were all supervisors (two ladies standing there) but only the food service manager could remove the charge. We reluctantly agreed and then proceeded to ask for our vehicle from the valet. It was then we discovered there was only one valet working. On a Sunday morning. The weekend after Thanksgiving. The poor kid was going non-stop between customers and vehicles. We waited for a considerably long time before he got to us. It was not his fault he has incompetent employers so we tipped him $20 and told him to stay positive. Do not stay here.
