Our Candlewood Suites Amarillo-Western Crossing Hotel is a great location that's just five minutes from the intersection of Interstate 40 & I27/US 87. - EBEric Bowen6 days ago5.0Good rooms, good service. Never had any complaints. The location is close to the interstate and since Amarillo isn't that big, you're close to most things to do. The only thing is that you're near some slightly sketchy industrial and commercial areas but I've never had issues. I stay here every time I drive between Colorado and Texas and enjoy it every time.

From the reviews, there was hesitation coming here but honestly I’ve stayed on the other side of town and it’s not much better and you get a little less quality in hotels. The major + was there was no car theft. And there’s a few reviews on this. The room itself was clean, no bugs and quiet. WiFi worked well. AC worked well. Good large, soft pillows and good blanket. Firm mattress. Small tv. It was a good stay.
