- SBStephanie BradyApr 19, 20264.0Beds were amazingly comfortable, clean, and close to food and shopping! We always stay here when visiting Dallas! As rooms are updated, patches are peelin, caulking is gloppy in repairs, etc. This was enough to remind you that the hotel is not a priority for the ownwers. I will definitely go back, but hope more care will be taken in making suites look polished.
- TBThomas BarntsenApr 12, 20264.0While the location was decent and the staff were friendly, the hotel rooms seem like they need refurbishment. I was on the ground level facing the parking lot, which sure didn't seem like an "upgrade" from a standard room, which Platinum IHG members have access to. The TV in the room only displayed audio for every other channel and the remote was a universal remote that didn't easily let you use the TV guide. Additionally, the main floor lamp in the corner wouldn't turn on, and overall the room was dark and a bit depressing without having the shades open. Lastly, the bathtub was an older whirlpool tub that you can't use as the switch to turn it on had been removed and covered with a wall plate. On the plus side, the room price was decent, staff was friendly, location was decent, the bed was comfortable and housekeeping made my bed daily. I also appreciated having a desk to do some work while I was in the room.
