  Worst “hotel” I came from Dallas I booked a room for one night here worst mistake ever as soon as I walked in I wasn’t greeted, it was so hot inside it felt cooler outside , the whole building smelled like pet urine , when I walked into the room I would be staying in bed wasn’t made, toilet wouldn’t flush, tv didn’t work and it smelled so bad I instantly started itching ! I didn’t feel safe or clean ! I proceeded to go back down stairs to receive a refund! Very disgusting 🤢

  Room smelled heavy of cleaning chemicals, bed was terribly firm, and there was no remote for the tv in the room! Avoid this hotel unless you absolutely have no other option!

  Horrible will never stay again, 50$ early check.in fee, 5$ replacement key, no breakfast, dirty room, horrible service, very rude front desk person, TV not working properly. Wouldn't even give 1 star if possible for rooms and service!

  Staff amazing…but…Beware some of the rooms, out of all candle wood hotels i been, DFW, roundrock, odessa, midland, san angelo but yet this Abeline location is the worst, sorry guys but this one is probably independently owned and neglected bad, rusted fixtures you can almost smell tetanus, broken marble countertops, burned out bulbs, missing cabinet doors, sticky floors not cleaned right because i went over the floor with my travel swiffer sweeper mop and it came out black, chips and rusted bath tub thats has chips missing plus check this out lol… regular wall paint on the floor of the tub to cover up wear marks maybe rust stains from being old yet it peels off when water gets on it and paint peel offs stick to your feet then to your towel, badly used dressers with drill marks and drawers fixed all ghetto not shutting correctly, tv not on stands and no matching remotes, ac units with bad smells due to lack of proper service intervals and cleaning and used smelly kitchenette towels with food stains, not good on their behalf making all that money from huge corporations and businesses passing through especially as of lately for a while from now growing data centers operating nearby yet they neglect to fix, REPLACE and update the rooms and furniture, get yalls cleaning staff new carpet vacuums too, lol, they go ham vacuuming waking up overnight workers yet as soon as i go out the door to go to the store there is dirt/dust and debris all around the hallways, lastly they need all new washers and dryers, only two washers barely working and dryers hardly were drying clothes, so far the nicest one ive been to was in Odessa and San Angelo coming in second, come on guys, pick up the slack.

  Not sure how this hotel can have affiliations with IHG. Second worst hotel i have stayed at due to cleanliness and over all conditions of things. Not sure the place owns a vacuum. Kitchenette and bathroom floors mopped with something leaving sticky floors. Emergency signage worn out and missing letters so are not legible. Mold in sheet rock of ceiling in bathroom. Cigarette smoke smell covered by paint. Food residue stink in sink. Cable box unplugged remote for tv didnt work. Towel rack hung on the wall so low it interferes with access to the toilet. Not positive the bedding was clean but was exhausted from travel. Front desk clerk claimed only general managers can print receipts during check out. Wild experience for a 267$ a night stay. Again IHG needs to check in on this place.
