Eşimle birlikte yıldönümü için ocakbaşı restorantından yer ayırtmıştık. Bize masamıza kadar eşlik eden hanımefendi çok kibar ve çok canayakındı lakin aynı performans garsonlarda maalesef yoktu. Bizimle ilgilenen garson bey, sinirden adlarını bile hatırlamıyorum ve hatırlamamam gayet normal çünkü bizimle asla ilgilenmedi, menüyü tanıtmaya başladı. Neyi tavsiye ettiğinden bahsetmiyorum; mezenin ne olduğundan, meyve tabağında meyve olduğundan filan bahsetti?? Açıkca bu tavrı hiç hoşuma gitmedi. Genelde garsonlardan ben hangi yemeklerin daha çok tercih edildiğini yahut kendilerinin hangi yemeğin favorisi olduğunu dinlerim, bana mezenin ne olduğunu anlatmazlar. Yemekleri seçtik ve garson bize başlangıçları getirdi. Daha bir kelime edemeden yanımızdaki turistlerden oluşan masaya yöneldi ve çok güzel sohbet etti. Neler alabileceklerini, hangi içki türünden hoşlandıklarını ya da hangi türk yemeğinin neyden yapıldığını gibisinden uzunca sohbet etti. Malesef ilgisizliği sadece bizim masadaydı. Başlangıçta kullandığım çatalım tabakla birlikte masadan kalkınca garson beyden yenisini rica ettim. Kendileri getirdiğinde eşimin benim çatalımı aldığını, masada eksik çatal olmadığını söyledi. Bahsettiği çatal tatlı için servis edilen çataldı ama sorun bu değil, sorun garson beyin ufacık bir ricamı söylenerek yapması. Bir tane daha getiriyorum demek ya da hiçbir şey demeden ricamı yerine getirmek bu kadar zor olmamalı. Yemeğimiz bitince tatlı bir şeyler söylemek istedik ama gerçekten masamızla ilgilenen birisiyle muhattap olamadık. Ve bu durum, bizim için özel olan bir geceyi mahvetmeye başladı. Eşimle sobet bile edemedik garsonlarınıza seslenmekten ve istediklerimizin yerine getirilememesinden. Kaç kere seslendik bilmiyorum tek bildiğim garsonların bizimle iletişim kurmadığı. Bizi o gece resmen görmezden geldiler. Aradan 5 dakika gibi bir süre geçti ve garson yan masamızdaki turistlerle ilgilendi, işi bitince nihayetinde gelebildi. Menüden tatlı siparişi verecektik garson bey yine tatlıları saydı. Burada bir problem yok ama meyve tabağının, meyvelerden oluşucağını elbet biliyorum. Türküm ve türkçem var kendisine açıklaması için teşekkür ediyorum beni gerçekten güldürdü. Tatlı siparişinin yanında çay söyledik, taşırken insanlık hali, çay tabağına damlamış bu sebeple garson beyden peçete rica ettim. Getireceğini söyledi ve masamıza bir daha uğramadı. Yani genel olarak eşimle ben hizmetinizden asla memnun kalmadık. Garsonlarınız müşterilerinizden bihaber olduğu gibi garsonlarda kendi araladında bihaber. Daha öncesinde birçok otelin restorantından yemek yemiş biri olarak ilk defa bu şekilde bi muammele gördüm. Ama yine hakkını yiyemem yemeklerinize bayıldım lezzet mükemmel ama hizmet vasattı. Ama bir daha tercih edeceğimiz bir mekan değil.

Bugün oğlumuzun doğum gününü brunch için Four Seasons’ta kutlamak istedik. Öncelikle belirtmek isterim ki yemeklerin kalitesi ve lezzeti gerçekten çok güzeldi. Ancak ne yazık ki servis ve organizasyon konusunda aynı memnuniyeti yaşayamadık.
Rezervasyon ve organizasyon için yurt dışı numarası üzerinden iletişim kurmaya çalıştığımızda farklı departmanlara yönlendirildik ve birkaç kez telefon görüşmesi yarıda kaldı. Sonunda WhatsApp üzerinden iletişim kurabildik.
Brunch sırasında da içeceklerin sürekli çok geç gelmesi ve personelin ilgisizliği dikkat çekiciydi. Özellikle doğum günü gibi özel bir günümüzde bu durum gerçekten keyfimizi kaçırdı.
İlk etapta olumsuz bir yorum yazmak istemedim çünkü Four Seasons gibi bir oteli kötü bir yorumla değerlendirmek istemiyorum. Ancak geri bildirimlerin dikkate alınması gerektiğini düşünüyorum. Yemek kalitesi ve mekan çok güzel olmasına rağmen, servis kalitesi maalesef Four Seasons markasına yakışacak seviyede değildi.
Umarım bu geri bildirim ilgili yönetim tarafından dikkate alınır ve personel ile servis konusunda gerekli iyileştirmeler yapılır. Çünkü otelin kalitesi düşünüldüğünde çok daha iyi bir hizmet bekliyorduk.

We had a wonderful four-day stay at the Four Seasons Hotel Istanbul at the Bosphorus with our family. The hotel is absolutely beautiful—elegant, classy, and in an incredible location right on the Bosphorus. The views and atmosphere are simply gorgeous.
What really stood out was the staff. Everyone was exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The service was excellent and made the whole experience feel very special.
We also really enjoyed the swimming pool and the hotel’s restaurants. There were multiple dining options throughout the day, with great food and beautiful settings overlooking the Bosphorus.
The only area that fell a little short of expectations was the breakfast buffet. It was perfectly fine, but fairly average compared with everything else at the hotel. Given the quality of the Four Seasons and being in Istanbul, we expected a much more impressive selection of traditional Turkish breakfast specialties.
Overall, though, this was a fantastic stay and a memorable experience for our family. Beautiful property, spectacular location, outstanding staff, and excellent service. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it!
