  Had another pleasant stay at Garner Hotel. The staff is amazing. Ismail Bey at the reception is exceptional. He went above and beyond taking empathetic steps to significantly improve my stay. Thank you for your genuine care and attentive service! It’s much appreciated.

  We stayed there for a night. The hotel arranged the pickup for us and it was good. The staff in the helpdesk seems to be nice and the place is clean. However, When we entered the room. There was no AC running and it was hot and humid. We had to call to have someone come in to the room to fix it. Then, an hour later, the AC stopped working again. I called the helpdesk and they said, it did timeout and will run it from my end. We also woke up in the middle of the night not having electricity at all and we had to call for a 3rd time. There must have been in some sort of a energy conservation program but that missed up our convivence for having a restful night after a long flight.

  This hotel is about a 10–15 minute taxi ride from Istanbul Airport, and the taxi fare is approximately 750–800 Turkish lira. One important thing to know: there are two hotels with the same name located about 100 meters apart. Make sure you confirm exactly which one you have booked. If you simply give the taxi driver the hotel name as it appears in a Google search, you will most likely be taken to the main location, which has a restaurant, coffee shop, and kitchen. Unfortunately, that happened to me. I was dropped off at the main hotel and only then discovered that my reservation was at the other building a few minutes’ walk away. I had to take my luggage and walk to the second location. The second building appears to be newer, and the rooms are very clean and comfortable. However, it has no kitchen, restaurant, or room service, and you cannot even get ice because there are no such facilities in the building. Overall, considering the price and its proximity to Istanbul Airport, I think it is a reasonable option for a one-night stay between flights. Just make sure you confirm the exact location of your reservation before arriving.
