As if that wasn't bad enough, the desk clerk had apparently had to turn people away all day and was in a vicious mood. She was rude, angry and downright nasty! I'm sure the folks who thought they had a room and found out they didn't were likely pretty mean to her, but being told you don't have a room by an angry, loud, rude person definitely doesn't make you want to be nice about the situation.
