- GLGerlyn LagtaponApr 6, 20265.0Originally reserved a room in Gatlinburg and was disgusted and was so noisy. It looked good in the pics, but not in person. We searched for Holiday Inn and found this one which was only 15 minutes drive from Gatlinburg. The town still has so much activities but was less chaotic and really enjoyed the location better than Gatlinburg. The staff (Brandon) was so accommodating from the start with allowing us early check in since driving all nite. And it continues with all the staff we encountered. The hotel was on a little hill that gave great views and tucked away from all the noise. The rooms were very clean!!! And the beds and pillows were soooo perfect! Slept like a baby. There was fresh brewed coffee available 24/7 that was good. I will definitely stay here for TN visits. I am very particular with hotels being clean. I have been in the hospitality industry for over 25 years and hotels and restaurants are things I am critical about when not up to par. I appreciated this hotel even more after the first one we had.
