On-line Check-in was classic Hilton: fast, easy, smooth.
But the details? Man… the staff barely acknowledged me. I wasn’t expecting a parade, but a head nod would’ve been cool.
And the room lighting? Why so dark? I’ve seen interrogation rooms brighter than that—no bedside lighting for ambient illumination, but overhead spotlights that would blind you. Also, no places wide enough for a suitcase platform … so tiny I felt like I was trying to park an SUV in a compact spot.
Good hotel overall — just needs a little more light, a little more love, and maybe a bigger spot for my bags to exist.

Second time staying at this location. We will stay again. The only thing we would change is adding a few more breakfast options for folks with gluten allergies. The other issue we have is not a Tru by Hilton problem, but rather a parental problem with other guests. Both times we stayed there were other guests staying with children who were loud and obnoxious at an age they should know better. Overall still a very good choice for a budget friendly place to stay. Excellent customer service from the front desk staff.

We typically try to find a Tru by Hilton when traveling with our 2 small dogs. Besides always being clean and neat, we enjoy the more contemporary/minimalist appearance. The staff at the front desk were especially friendly and courteous. The rooms have little space for clothes storage but suitcases will slide under the beds. There's lots of activities for children in their lobby.

If you want a room with a view make sure your room # is an EVEN number all odd numbers are the back view with nothing to see.

Extremely clean and well kept. Big breakfast variety (the bacon was done right, crisp, and delicious). The rooftop area is a huge asset with awesome views, plenty of furniture, and gas fireplace feature, a really great ambiance day or night. Still very impressed at how clean the place was in shared areas as well as in the rooms. Indoor pool is chilly but a nice option if your children insist on swimming. All staff were very friendly. We stayed in room 424 and had a great view of the island ferris wheel which is something my child is always excited to see. We normally stay at the Home2 next door but Tru will be our go-to place now. More bang for your buck if you don't need a full kitchen and bigger sq ft.
