First, I’ll say that I’m a big fan of Hilton hotels in general and often prefer them to other options. I stayed here a couple nights over the holidays. Overall, the stay was fine. I’m not eager to stay here again, but I’m also not saying I’d never stay here again. The Good: The 2 bed queen room is VERY spacious. It was a clean and carpet free room, and there were more than enough towels in the bathroom. There are many outlets next to the beds, and these were easily accessible. The lighting options were thoughtfully designed. Staff was friendly, as was the maintenance staff. Parking is free and plentiful. If you intend to visit the Island, it’s SUPER close but not so close that there’s noise from it. The roof top offers several gas fire pits and an abundance of seating. There was a water and ice machine on our floor. Room for Improvement: It was confusing and hard to find the check in desk. Turns out it’s in the Embassy Suites hotel. The two hotels are connected and share a checkin desk which we eventually figured out on our own. While Hilton allows you to check in through the app and bypass a check-in desk entirely, it’s still helpful to know where the desk is for questions during the stay. It would be helpful and easy to inform guests of the checkin situation when they reserve the room and/or include this information in hotel details on the website. The staff was friendly, but they seemed to be minimally knowledgeable about the Tempo half of the hotel, and the directions to find our room within the hotel were not all that clear. The A/C went out during our stay. Thankfully it was an easy fix; just required the breaker to be reset, but at 11pm, it wasn’t what we wanted to deal with. A/C, part 2… it’s odd that you can’t set it below 68. Multiple outlets near the beds did not work on night #2. Not sure if this was related to the breaker situation, but even after the breaker was flipped, they did not work. More signage in the halls would be helpful. There’s no signage in the halls on the Tempo half of the property to indicate the location of the elevator location or ice/water machine. We noticed on the long walk through the Embassy Suites halls to the Tempos side of the property that this signage DOES exist on the Embassy Suite side, so why not offer Tempo guests the same basic directional guidance? Would love for the hotel room to come with a bottled water or two though we were able to get this from the front desk upon request. Photos = views from the hotel **In case Hilton is verifying the stay, the reservation was not under my name but a family member with a different last name.

We stayed 6 nights at Tempo by Hilton Pigeon Forge and really enjoyed our time. The hotel is modern, clean, and comfortable, with a great location close to attractions, restaurants, and easy access to Gatlinburg and the Smokies. We did notice Asian lady bugs in our room for a few days, but once we informed housekeeping, they were quick to respond and vacuumed the room, which we appreciated. Overall, the friendly staff, cleanliness, and location made this a very pleasant stay, and we would happily stay here again.

I was very impressed with my stay at the Tempo. We felt that the rooms and common areas were all very clean and well maintained. I loved the large outdoor roof patios and the bar and restaurant were both nice to have as an option while staying in the area. The breakfast restaurant was admittedly a little understaffed, but the Tempo is only 3 months old, and we stayed right after Christmas, so I’ll chalk that up to the holidays. The staff was very courteous and helpful, and we felt welcomed during our stay. I did have one concerning experience. We checked in online without going to the front desk, and received digital keys. The second day I went to request a physical room key for the room. I gave them the room number, and they gave me a key without asking my name or proof of ID. While this was incredibly easy and pain free, it was a little concerning that I could have been anyone asking for that key, and they would have likely given it to them. I’m sure this isn’t standard protocol, and I understand that mistakes happen. I would love to come back and stay here again, with the hopes that this minor safety issue gets resolved.

I’ll start by saying me & my fiancé are not fancy people. We visit Pidgeon Forge atleast once a year and this was easily the fanciest hotel we’ve ever had the privilege to stay at. The front desk were super attentive and very rapid in response to our one request. The happy our complimentary drinks were a nice touch. The breakfast both buffet & fresh omelets were delicious. If we were really forced to make any form of complaint it was that the golf simulator was not functioning both times we attempted to try it & the come free style machine was very over carbonated. It’s a weird quirk but my fiancé loves these machines so she was a bit disappointed but this didn’t have a major impact on our stay. All in all this may be our go to hotel from now on. The location is just close enough to the island for easy access but far enough for peace and quiet. We cant wait to go back!

My family and I stayed at Tempo by Hilton Pigeon Forge in December 2025, and the experience exceeded every expectation. The property is brand new, breathtaking, and beautifully designed, offering a true resort-style atmosphere with stunning views of the Smoky Mountains. One of the standout benefits is that Tempo guests have full access to Embassy Suites amenities, which truly elevates the stay. This includes the rooftop spaces, game areas, complimentary breakfast, evening happy hour, and shared common areas—all seamlessly accessible and thoughtfully curated. The interior décor is top-tier, modern, and polished throughout. Parking was ample and convenient, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The amenities are impressive and well-maintained: an indoor heated pool, outdoor pool, hot tub, swim-up pool bar, and fire pits—everything you need to create a relaxing, upscale resort vibe. A special mention goes to Eugene from the maintenance team, who went above and beyond by graciously giving us a tour of the property. His kindness and professionalism added a personal touch that made our stay even more memorable. We loved our experience so much that we already plan to return in the spring to fully enjoy the outdoor pool and warm-weather amenities. If you’re looking for a modern, elegant, resort-style stay in Pigeon Forge, Tempo and Embassy Suites are an outstanding choice.
