If you’re considering the DoubleTree in Oak Ridge, do yourself a favor and choose literally any other hotel. My family stayed here Oct 31–Nov 1. I accidentally left my toiletries hanging on the back of the bathroom door. The very next day, Nov 2, I called and left a voicemail for housekeeping — no response. By Nov 5, still nothing. When I called again, the front desk casually informed me my bag was “waiting for me,” as if the complete lack of communication was normal. I drove 191 miles back on Nov 8 to pick it up — nearly four hours of traffic — only to receive a noticeably lighter bag. Several of my recently purchased, sensitive-skin products were missing (about $60 worth). Because I didn’t feel safe turning around and driving another 4 hours home, I had to book a last-minute room for $189. With fuel, this little fiasco ended up costing me roughly $250 — all because the hotel couldn’t manage basic lost-and-found procedures or make a single phone call. One star for Shania at the front desk, who was the only competent person I interacted with; she comped the pet fee and apologized. But even she admitted the situation wasn’t right and told me the manager would reach out. Shockingly (or maybe not), a week has passed and no one has contacted me. For a Hilton-branded property, the lack of professionalism here is astonishing. If you expect communication, accountability, or even the bare minimum of follow-through, look elsewhere. I won’t be making the mistake of returning.

There is NO HOT TUB!? Anywhere?! Business as far as people was good. The building could use some love but looks like they are already on it =)

Housekeeping didn't put toilet paper in the room. We asked them to replace the body wash, and they didn't replace the body wash. So we had to go ask for it and the toilet paper at the front desk. They took three towels out, but only put two back. They didn't change the sheets, which had blood on them, and they didn't even make the bed. There is no mention that the hotel was under construction on the Hilton App, and their construction workers were arguing at all hours of the night in the room across the hall. Worst stay at a Hilton hotel ever!

This was the Host Hotel for my 50th High School Reunion. The room was great! And the Hotel is pet friendly The bed was perfect as was the bedding. I shoved the chair under the window to make room for the dog crates. The thermostat was set at 68 and should have been comfortable but didn't get there till I dropped it to 60. The AC had recently been serviced. And it had a option for constant fan which is really nice for those of us that like a little white noise. Once I got settled I didn't here a thing till I woke up at 8:30. The rooms all had soft closed doors. This proved to be a blessing and a curse. No banging doors as people going in and out of their room, I was letting Dealer have some free time and because the door closed so slow he sneaked out and was wandering down the hallway. Luckily he came right back with a smile on his face. I loved personalized touch of my name on the TV. The shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and lotion all were great and smelled wonderful. The refrigerator was set a little cold so any food was frozen. But drinks were great. My room overlooked the indoor pool and was initially concerned about noise but never heard anything. The staff were all friendly and professional. The Banquet was decorated beautifully and the Food Delicious. The Doubletree provided a large projection screen for our Memorial making it easy for everyone to see. This is my second Reunion at the Double Tree, but my first time staying there. It was a very enjoyable experience.
