  We stayed here on both of our previous Nashville visits. We always stayed because the location was convenient and their parking lot is big enough to park pur Rav. However, this time they changed and now charge for parking. Which would require us to pay way too much @ over $100/night on top of the room charge. Absolutely ridiculous!!! I would understand if they were busy/booked and didn't have room. But the lot was basically empty and had tons of availability. So we opted to not stay obviously. I previously would have given 5 stars, but wanted to give 1. However decided to be fair as the hotel itself was just fine. Just like many, they are getting money hungry.

  This place is absolutely horrible. We got kicked out at 4:30am for noise complaints we never committed. We were never able to defend ourselves and were kicked out with no solid evidence and the evidence that was provided was inaccurate and made up. One of the security guards was highly disrespectful and unprofessional, calling us names and obscenities as we were trying to pack up. The rooms are small and unclean, and there was a faint rotting smell the whole time we were there. The staff is very disrespectful and the price you pay for such a sloppily run hotel is honestly a scam.

  Mainor provided an excellent valet experience from start to finish. He was professional, friendly, and very attentive. From the moment I arrived, he greeted me with a positive attitude and made the process quick and smooth. He handled my vehicle with care and had it ready promptly when I needed it. What stood out the most was his great customer service, he went above and beyond to make sure everything was convenient and stress-free. It’s clear he takes pride in his work. I would definitely trust Mainor again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for reliable and top-quality valet service.

  Traveled last week for a work conference and this was my first trip to Nashville. Being a NJ gal~ I needed to make my trip extra affordable, but I digress. Traveling solo~ though I would not be in danger of being kidnapped ~ safe, clean, and within walking distance of my event was key. My stay exceeded my expectation and hope!! The location the location the location!! Best part by far!! The hotel is an approximately 20 minute taxi/Uber trip from the airport. I was no more than a 20 minute walk from our event venue (City Winery), no more than 25 minutes to various restaurants (all walking that is), and a 10 minute walk to 'Lower Broadway' aka Honky Tonk Row 🤠. Cleanliness. Another A+! The lobby, common areas and breakfast area as well as my room. Friendliness/professionalism. A+! Warmth and kindness from the front desk staff, valet at the front door, breakfast staff. There are fancier hotels in the immediate area, yet if you are watching your budget a little extra like us New Jersey folks (haha) then the Holiday Inn Express Downtown-Broadway is for you!!

  Stayed at Holiday Inn Express Nashville Downtown Broadway and it was a pretty underwhelming experience. The property feels dated the minute you walk in. Bathroom doors are rusted, multiple light bulbs around the mirror were burnt out, and the room overall looks like it hasn’t been refreshed in years. The duvet cover was ripped, which is just basic quality control that shouldn’t be missed. Comfort was a problem. The AC unit is loud and constantly cycling, so you’re either freezing or sweating with no middle ground. Walls are thin enough that you can hear the TV in the next room clearly, and outside noise from Broadway carries all night. Sirens, horns, you name it. Service didn’t help. Valet managed to lock keys in a car, which doesn’t inspire confidence. There was also live music at the hotel, but it felt off. The musician was taking requests and couldn’t play a lot of the popular country songs people were asking for. That’s kind of the expectation in Nashville, especially this close to Broadway. Location is the one redeeming factor. You’re right near the action, but it’s uphill coming back, which you’ll feel after a night out. Bottom line: this is a backup option at best. If you have other choices, take them.
