Beautifully styled quaint hotel in a great location. We came for a Trevor Noah show. Walked 8 mins to Ryman auditorium from the hotel. The room was clean, bed was comfy, had a nice view of the city and the staff was pleasant. We were in town to celebrate my husband’s birthday and after the show we came back to a complimentary bottle of wine and cheesecake! Such a thoughtful touch. We will be back!
What was bad:
-I was told by the Valet I could bill the charge to my room. Nope! Front desk was zero help and was apathetic toward my need to have all charges on a single bill. Basically the response was "Oh well" only if the hotel comps parking, can they bill to the room which made no sense. Clearly the right hand doesn't talk to the left hand. Fingers point both ways.
-Valet Pricing was listed was $66 on the podium out front and I was charged $75, of which the price was updated at the podium on the last night. Talk about bait and switch.
-No Diet Coke or Pepsi in the Restaurant - Really?
-No water bottles, despite Hilton Gold status, but they'll gladly sell you one in the pantry, lol.
-Raw burger served via room service on the first night - Beef tartar in the middle, well seared on the outside
-In room sink faucet you can't fit your hand under due to incorrect drilling. Need another inch of space.
-Blown breaker upon power plug use - Outlets are way too sensitive. Check your AFCI setup. Never had this problem elsewhere.
-No glasses in the room - Again, why? Did the consultants tell you to get rid of them to save a few $. Had to go downstairs to the bar to get glasses.
-Wi-Fi would disconnect each night despite picking the 7 day option. Had to manually reconnect each morning.
What was good?
+Safe in the room
+Water Pressure was good
+Refrigerator available
+AC Worked good even being cold outside
+Soap Dispensers were good, even if you decided to not include a bar of soap for the sink (again, cost cutting)
+Food was excellent, despite Room Service serving a raw burger
+F&B and Valet was quick and friendly
+Water Dispenser was good, again, despite not having water bottles available

Clean, well kept rooms in a very good location in downtown Nashville. Interactions with the staff were very good. I wish that I had a map of the hotel in order to access the amenities. It wasn't always clear where things were when navigating the hotel.
Rooms are very nice, clean, and modern. The hotel itself is great. However, staff communication about parking options was frustrating. I asked about parking options when booking and again at check-in and was told it was third-party and pricing was unknown. That was misleading, and self-parking ended up costing more than expected. Better transparency about parking options and costs would really improve the guest experience.

At check-in, my card was requested for incidentals, which is standard. Instead, the full cost of the stay was charged to my personal card rather than the card used to book the reservation. For business travelers, this is a serious issue, as companies often book travel specifically so employees/contractors are not personally responsible for large hotel charges.
I was also pressured to either pay a $50 fee or enroll in Hilton Honors to access an early check-in, despite the room already being available. I’ve never been upsold for early check-in anywhere else.
Wi-Fi did not work for the first 24 hours. Attempts to reach the front desk by phone or text went unanswered for half the day. They were either busy or unavailable any time I went to the lobby. The issue was later traced to my room being assigned under an incorrect last name, despite my booking confirmation being correct and in my name. This was never corrected.
Most concerning were ongoing smoke and carbon monoxide detector beeping. In my original room, the detector beeped repeatedly throughout the night. After trying to reach staff late from 11pm-1am, I was told no engineer was on site. I didn’t expect a fix, I wanted to move. I had to explain it’s a safety concern, where they finally offered to move to another room, which was also a downgrade from what was booked and paid for.
The beeping issue continued in the new room, including one instance where a beep lasted approximately 60 continuous seconds, followed by repeated beeps frequent enough to capture on video and audio. At that point, it was clear the issue was not isolated to a single room.
The rooms also have extremely thin walls, with noise from neighboring rooms clearly audible. This continued even after I was moved to a different room. You can hear entire conversations next door, verbatim.
Billing issues, lack of responsiveness, unresolved safety alarms, and poor service recovery make this a property I would not choose again, especially for business travel.
