  What can I say about this hotel that hasn’t been already said about Afghanistan? It looks bombed out and depleted. Check in was at 3:00 PM and upon arrival, not an employee could be found. As we were waiting, more guests came into the lobby and waiting to be checked in. After about 15 minutes of standing around and calling the hotel on the phone, we finally were able to get to our room. The room was okay, but it was evidentially clear that the cleaners didn’t do a good enough job. Hair in the shower and a used Q-tip hiding in the crevice between the headboard and wall.

  We like the Hilton brand but have never used Spark. The property had good space for vehicles, and 3 EV chargers were available. Inside space was comfortable. We found the staff friendly and helpful. We will consider staying at Spark on our future trips to other locations.

  I booked two rooms for four days through a third party due to having no heat or power in East Nashville from the winter storm. The third party completely botched the reservations and even charged me twice for the same room on the same dates. It was a nightmare but Mario at the front desk tirelessly worked with me to figure out the issue. Though the mistake wasn't the hotel's, Mario was so kind, professional, and patient while we figured out what had happened and made sure I had confirmed reservations for my entire stay (I had extended the stay for both rooms after my initial booking as we still had no heat in our home). It was an extremely stressful time for us and Mario was extraordinary in going above and beyond while I slowly lost my mind trying to figure it all out lol. The rooms were clean and the bedding was so soft; I have no complaints about the hotel itself. It would be great to have microwaves in each room for extended stays, but there is one in the lobby for communal use. The breakfast was basic bagels, cereal, and muffins but not bad. The gentleman who checked me in on day one was also kind and professional though they were very busy due to the circumstances in Nashville at the time. Definitely recommend the hotel, just book directly through them to avoid a headache.
