I stayed at this property from Feb 19-22. The location is a 10/10. The hotel is new and beautiful. I was a bit nervous about a "micro room" but in all reality these room sized are no different from many city hotels. The hotel was SPOTLESS. All employees were friendly and helpful. We happened to arrive on their Grand Opening day and were invited to attend their celebration - It was so great with beverages and gorgeous food offerings from Junies their in house restaurant.
The Location... 5 Minute walk to Broadway or Bridgestone arena . 7 minutes to the Ryman - Liquor store and convenient store less than a block away. Area felt safe even late at night.
I would choose this hotel anytime I need to be in Nashville! I can not say enough good things about our stay!

This is the perfect place to stay in Nashville. The rooms are cozy, and have everything you would need. The staff have all, and I do mean all, been nothing short of wonderful and friendly to us the entire weekend. There is a restaurant down on the first floor that has plenty of options. We had breakfast there a few times. Finally, the real gem to this place is its’ location. It’s a couple blocks from the Broadway bars and restaurants. It’s also just a couple minute walk to Bridgestone Arena and Ryman Auditorium. It is about a half mile away from the Gibson Garage. We parked our car Friday when we got here, and we never touched it again until time to go home. It’s too bad that I can only give this place 5 stars here. Trust me, they deserve more! Thank you again for the kindness of all of your employees. You all really made us feel welcome here.

I’ll give them the location. It’s a 10/10; but, nothing says luxury stay like a grand opening where basic hotel functions are still in beta testing. Two nights, zero hot water, very refreshing if you’re training for polar plunge season. Room phones didn’t work, so every question required a field trip to the front desk. Truly immersive hospitality adventure with cardio included.
They had the grand opening while we were there, which is bold considering the hotel itself had not yet opened emotionally, physically, or operationally. Great concept. Needs reality. You’re not ready.

If you like big rooms, don’t bother. However, if you like new, clean, friendly, give it a chance! There are a couple kinks to work out as a newly remodeled location but overall, it is great. The location is a plus. Parking is $65 a day which is pricey but you can come and go unlimited times and attendants are fast and friendly. Bar staff is friendly. The blue cheese stuffed dates are delicious. Would definitely stay here again.

We cannot say enough good things about our stay at Motto during the recent power outage in Nashville.
From the very first phone call when we lost power and were trying to figure out next steps, Madison at the front desk was exceptional. Calm, kind, and genuinely helpful at a moment when a lot of people were stressed and uncertain. That tone carried throughout our entire stay.
When we arrived on Monday, the hotel was understandably slammed. The lobby at times felt more like a veterinarian’s waiting room than a traditional hotel lobby, with families, travelers, and pets everywhere but somehow everyone stayed in good spirits. The staff kept things moving quickly and efficiently, and no one ever made us feel rushed or unwelcome.
Because of the storm, we ended up needing to extend our stay twice. Each time, the front desk staff was incredibly accommodating, friendly, and patient, making what could have been a stressful situation feel easy and handled.
We stayed for three nights and crossed paths with many members of the team. Every single interaction was positive. From the coffee counter, to housekeeping, to the valet staff, everyone was friendly, patient, and professional. We were traveling with our dog, and it never once felt like an inconvenience. The hotel was truly pet friendly in the best sense.
The hotel itself is very thoughtfully laid out. The bar and third space area became a hub in the mornings, with travelers working, having coffee, and quietly getting their day started. It felt communal without being chaotic. The on site restaurant was also a great convenience during a week when options around the city were limited.
The rooms were clean and well maintained. They are more compact, similar to a European style hotel room, but very functional and comfortable. And the location more than makes up for it being just steps from Broadway made getting around incredibly easy.
What stood out most is that the staff was dealing with the same ice storm and power issues as the rest of the city. They had every reason to be stressed, yet they showed up each day with kindness, empathy, and professionalism.
Motto became a true refuge for many people in Nashville during a difficult week. The entire staff should be incredibly proud of how they took care of so many families, travelers, and pets when it mattered most. We are genuinely grateful and would absolutely stay here again.
