The best experience I have ever had. I'd recommend to anyone. The staff was superb and the rides downtown. One driver was a tour guide and the other got you downtown like a NASCAR driver 🤣 both were safe drivers. What a blessed stay.

Steer clear of this hotel for a while. They claim they are updating but the hotel was so dirty and worn that it looks like it hasn't been touched in 20 years. The breakfast was very limited, the staff very unfriendly. If you want a cheap budget property and don't care about cleanliness then this is the hotel for you. They do offer a free shuttle to downtown which was nice but that was the extent of it. I filled in the survey and they offered me a whopping $5 off my next stay with them. Really??

I stayed at the Millennium this past Friday (November 24th) just for one night - I was in town for the 5k. When I arrived at the hotel around 4pm the WIFI was down, the front desk staff was having to check people in manually. People standing in the line were being extremely rude and inpatient. One couple was calling the male manager names and swearing. It was completely out of line - HOWEVER, the staff remained calm, respectful and continued working their butts off to get people checked in. showed them to their rooms and managed through without internet. The WIFI was back on within the hour. The two workers in the lounge were fabulous as well! I would recommend anyone visiting Nashville who doesn't mind not being right downtown to stay here! Great outdoor pool to use as well. I hope one of the rude customers from Friday go on here to leave a negative review and think twice. The front desk staff that you were horrible to didn't plan for the internet to go out that day, how could they? Do you think they were having a good time having to scramble around while dealing with arrogant and immature costumers yelling at them? Nope! It wasn't their fault, and they were handling a situation the best they could. I truly hope no one ever treats or talks to you the way you did to them when you are having a bad day at work.

Tldr: would not stay here again. The good: staff was helpful and kind and knowledgeable. Check in and out was easy. The ac unit kept the room nice and cool. There was a fridge and microwave in the room (although the fridge was rusted through on the bottom) The view we had was very pretty There is a shuttle that runs every 30 mins to and from broadway The bad: The breakfast was the worst offender in a slew of disappointments. It was $22 daily and that was not optional. For $22 my spouse and I could have had a much nicer breakfast literally anywhere else. Breakfast consisted of: Vanilla yogurt Strawberry yogurt Granola (but basically lightly sweet rolled oats) Waffles (only 2 stations so there was almost always a long wait) with only pancake syrup and butter for toppings Cereal that no one touched and was incredibly stale Cut up fruit that varied but was always under ripe and hard and tasteless Toast and bagels (which would run out of cream cheese by 7am) We only had a protein (hard boiled eggs, not bad) one of the days. There was nothing you could take with you on the go. Yogurt was in buckets. I didn't expect much, but I was expecting a protein of any sort daily. The juice was so watered down the apple juice was clear. The coffee at Maxwell House (a coffee brand mind you) was so horrible and burnt tasting and not able to be covered by their room temp milk and creamer. The hotel is dingy and Dark and incredibly outdated. The toilet made a screeching noise that lasted minutes every time it was flushed. The tub had obvious rust spots and I didn't feel clean using it. I was worried that the bottom would break through with the obvious depression covered with a sticker of sorts. Especially with the shower head being neck height and having to stoop to use it. I'm 5'4" for reference. --- Edit: in response to the hotel responding to the review. It is not complimentary if it is a compulsory fee. I would not have used the shuttle, I would not have eaten the breakfast (the sad version it was), if I could have saved almost $100 for my stay. That would have covered a decent breakfast literally anywhere else for 2 and parking.
