We had a great stay at the Homewood Suites Nashville Airport. While we encountered a minor technical glitch at check-in, the way the staff handled it was exceptional. • Problem-Solving Staff: The gentleman at the front desk was incredibly helpful when we had trouble getting into our room. Even though we had to wait for the engineer to return from lunch, the engineer arrived promptly afterward and fixed the key card reader right away. Both were extremely apologetic for the delay. • Above-and-Beyond Service: Due to staffing, the morning shuttle wasn't running, but the hotel didn't leave us stranded—they provided a complimentary Lyft to the airport, which was a huge stress-relief. • Family-Friendly Breakfast: Traveling with my wife and two young kids can be hectic, so having breakfast ready before 6:00 AM was a lifesaver. It allowed us to get a bite to eat before our early flight. • Room & Location: The location is perfect for travelers. Our room was clean, comfortable, and very affordable. The front desk staff even followed up in the morning to apologize again for the door issue. It’s rare to find this level of genuine care and accountability. I highly recommend staying here if you are departing out of BNA!

Do NOT park your car here to get a shuttle to the airport. We left on Christmas Day. Shuttle to the airport was fine, but when I called on my return I thought a shuttle would come get my family. Unknown to me, the guy ordered us a car and didn’t tell me that. I was waiting in the shuttle pick up area so I called back after waiting for 35 minutes. He said he was the only one working today and he WAS NOT paying for me another car. So I had to get my own Uber to the hotel that was supposed to have free shuttle service to BNA.

So - here's the skinny on this place. It's in a great location less than 10 min from the airport. Highway access to other parts of the Nashville area is very close and easy to get to. Hotel in a decent location surrounded by retail and other hotels. Pros: Location / Easy access to highways Breakfast included Cons: Rooms are subpar - at least ours was - 219 has some issues. Hotel needs some refreshers on customer service.. Hotel needs to invest in addressing some room issues Very small and subpar fitness center Lackluster included breakfast Details: Room 219 - while it was a decent sized room, you could tell they were piecemealing things together...cobbling in a sort of way. *Some of the light fixtures were plugged into outlets that the guest should have access to - especially at the bedside. Some of the light fixtures were upgraded and look nice but doesn't match the decor of the room (small issue). *Bathroom exhaust fan sounded like it was going to crash through the ceiling and onto the person using the toilet. Brought it to the attention of the front desk - nothing was done during our stay. Fix the bearings on that fan already. *Bathroom door and floor moulding were peeling / discolored / dirty. The kitchen floor was also dirty - after we moved the kitchen garbage can, there were spots of dirt that weren't addressed. *Sofa bed mattress was terrible. You could feel every spring pushing through the mattress. Asked front desk for mattress topper - they didn't have one - or extra blankets, to reduce the springs poking through - they only had 1 blanket. So - if you're stuck on this sofa, do yourself a favor and put the sofa cushions together and sleep on those. Before you come at me, we exclusively stay at Hilton properties, with sofa beds, and haven't had this issue. This was very much the worst room we've ever checked into in a Hilton-branded property. The staff really didn't seem to care, like they were doing us a favor by simply being there. Not a good look for hilton-brand. *Breakfast - wasn't that great, and here's what you had: some kind of ground meat (wasn't that good) and most likely powdered scrambled eggs, tortillas with fixings for burritos, cereals, pastries, oatmeal, MYO waffles. Didn't have hard boiled eggs, yogurt, any other meats. I've stayed at plenty of Homewood Suites / Home2Suites where b'fast was superb - this was not one of those places. With all the other options of hotels in the area close to the airport, i would MOST DEFINITELY choose a different hotel when I go back to Nashville - will NOT stay here again until they tighten some things up. Quite unfortunate.

The reasons I won’t stay at this property again are the numerous preventable disappointments: - the floor lamp was not working. I had to have it swapped out as it was the only source of light in the main room. - the phone in the room did not work so I had to walk down to the front desk to ask for the lamp replacement. - the shower gel dispenser was empty, leaving me with no soap to shower. I had to get out of the shower wet after I realized and get bar soap out of my luggage that I carry with me for backup. - I asked for a feather bed pillow and had to explain to the front desk clerk what that is because she was new and not well trained. - the hotel charges $10 for overnight self parking, although this is a suburban location with ample parking available. This is simply a money grab!
