Hilton's Systems were down for a couple hours at checkin. Front desk helped as best they could, but we had to wait.

There is not one negative thing I can say about this hotel. Super clean, fresh smelling and the staff were amazing, friendly and helpful. Even the valet staff were quick and friendly. The beds were comfortable. The room was very clean. The shower had great water pressure and lots of hot water. The free breakfast was absolutely delicious and free coffee all day long! Great location, easy to walk to bars, restaurants and a corner store. The people of Nashville are just amazing! I highly recommend this Hotel.

Room was good. But the service was great. The front desk helped me out after I had a booking problem.

Run. Don't walk away- run! The parking daily fee of 50+ is in addition to the price of your room.. Then the audacity to be unattached to the building so you still get exposed to the elements and the elevator was broken so you walk with all your luggage up and down the stairs of the parking garage! The pillows were terrible and we felt like we had been beaten up and robbed by staying here. The location is squeezed in a tiny slot like many cities do, so it hard to turn around in a vehicle, etc. The rooms only offered queen beds. Older hotel but it was clean with updated furniture and fixtures. They still had the old-school bathtub that you step up in to shower, which is difficult or dangerous for seniors. Front desk clerk was kind and helpful as she could be. Some people may not see the parking fee as a problem, but for us, it was a deal breaker. To charge your paying customers to park at your business to patronize your business is diabolical! Its shows the greed of businesses and insanity of people who play along. We will never return. If you are not from Nashville and come with the TV version expectation of southern hospitality, please prepare yourself for the rude awakening- literally. People in Nashville are very rude and aggressive. Not friendly at all. Very much in a hurry, aggressive drivers. They will bump into you and give you the nastiest look like you're in their way. No one said excuse me the entire time we visited. I was so disappointed that my expectation of courtesy and basic respect was so far off from the people of Nashville.. I hope to never go back to this city again. Like a night and day difference from Gatlinburg as far as hospitality. Then again, maybe everyone has a chip on their shoulder cause they feel like the city and businesses they support daily and call home is robbing them too!

Trae and Serena are the dream team. I stayed at this location during the horrible Nashville storm when I lost power at my house. Trae went out of his way to make sure I was able to stay despite the city's power concerns. I had my two dogs with me and the ENTIRE staff were so kind to them. I just cant say enough good things about the people here. In a time when their own homes and safety are on the line too, they were so hospitable and kind. Thank you Home2Suites Vandy team!!
