Horrible hotel, horrible management, even worse corporate management. I'm staying at Hyatt for now on.

Rooms were clean and the staff were great, but there are a few complaints warranting 3 stars. First, the hotel lobby where you check in and eat breakfast smelled like sewage our entire stay. Then the Wi-Fi and TV situation was another red flag. The Wi-Fi was very slow, having to resort to using my phone as a hotspot to get any work done. The TVs themselves are not smart TVs, but are hooked up to a box providing general apps such as YouTube or Netflix, which you can only use if you have your own account. There was no ability to install any new apps, so if you only have Amazon Prime Video like us, you won't be able to use it. There is no option to Airplay on the TVs from your phone either. Lastly, one of the elevators had what I can only assume to be fecal matter on the ground, with a foul odor hitting us as soon as the doors opened. I understand that this hotel allows pets for a fee, but this definitely made me reconsider booking any more hotels that allow pets in the future, especially when owners are negligent to properly take care of their pets.

"we do have an induction stove but I'm not positive we have any pots or pans"
The amenities list "full kitchen", but I knew that actually meant "fridge and the ability to check out an induction burner and pans". So I mentioned I'd need one when I booked my reservation last week. And again as a reply to the "how can we help you with your stay" text this morning. And then via the chat in the app when I was getting close to the hotel and hadn't heard anything. The front desk kindly finally told me that they *might* have the thing that makes the fridge + counter top a "full kitchen". These are induction burners. They aren't even a burner if you don't have a proper pan, they're just a magnet.
I didn't plan to need a restaurant, so I didn't take that into account when I chose my hotel. I'm now a 20 minute walk away from the hotel, paying for a meal I planned to cook, and making sure I make proper notes and never stop at this particular Home2 again (and just maybe take Home2 off my "convenient for road trips" list altogether).
Edit to add: the dead bolt in the room doesn't work, either. For an ostensibly nice hotel, this place just keeps getting worse.

It's $12 per day for parking which is confusing considering it's not a busy area and there is plenty of parking. Also rooms only have 1 bed and pull out which wasn't great for our family. Main plus was the pool was so so warm! We loved it!
