Along with easy access to Interstate 40, 65 and 24 we are located just a few miles away to Vanderbilt University, TSU, Vanderbilt Medical Center, Baptist and Saint Thomas hospitals. Only 5 miles to Downtown Nashville, Fifth and Broadway, Country Music Hall of Fame, The Ryman, and so much more. There is shopping all over Nashville, plus some of the best eateries you will find any where. Don't forget to visit the Nashville Zoo at Grassmere, Titans football Nissan Stadium or First Horizon Park and see the Nashville Sounds play baseball.     The location was easily accessible from where we were coming from. The front desk (evening, we checked in very late) was not as friendly as when we spoke on the phone. I knew we were going to be late checking in and called to change payment methods *was told I had till 3am before audit) When I arrived at midnight he had already ran audit and charged my card, KNOWING I wanted to change payment method. Causing my bank to charge me overdrawn fees. My recommendation don't reserve with a different card than the one you plan on actually using.

    I have stayed here before and while it is marked as my to go hotel on my road trip because of their no pet policy. However this time the clerk i encounted out me on the 1st floor even though I told her I have very bad allergies to dog dander. She actually told me before giving the room that most service animals stay on the 1st floor then why give the 1st floor. Apparently the room was cleaned well, I did not have issues. My issue was the clerk. Then on checkout I mentioned I did not like the fact that by the sink there were no towel racks, this clerk who was not the one from the night before said that's how all the rooms are. BS. I have stayed at many Holiday Inn's never have I seen that. We don't necessarily like the area but only stay there because of the No Pet Policy. Now I think the staff needs more training. It was good for the 2 times I did stay.

    The Hotel is a Hotel. 5 stars go to Shadee who always had a smile for me and was happy to accommodate my requests. Thank you. 5 stars also for the young lady from Turkey. She was great too. Thank you.

    Room was okay, service was very good, but the building is just really old and smells like mold and cigarettes. Elevator had empty energy drink can in it. Overpriced for the value.

    Our room was clean but since it's an older building it wasn't as big as the new ones. Quick ride to DT and right by the gas station And Hattie Bs. Good breakfast options , would stay again
