Nice hotel, visited in September. Very clean as it’s quite new. The front desk was very helpful, although one morning one lady spent the entire time I was at breakfast stood doing her makeup. Just doesn’t look very professional. The area isn’t too bad, we were able to walk back from the Grand Ole Opry. Spacious rooms. We had vouchers for the buffet breakfast but it was terrible. The hot food was awful, the only thing worth eating was cereal but the milk wasn’t replenished. The plates and bowls were all dirty as well. The kitchen staff seemed unimpressed when I mentioned this. The waitress was also surly and seemed annoyed we had breakfast vouchers. There seems to be a few reviews who are clearly referencing this waitress, so I do wonder why this has not been sorted. On another morning we had a lovely waitress, who gave us some great recommendations.

During my family’s recent stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Opry Mills (Nashville, TN), we were subjected to hostile, discriminatory, and completely unacceptable treatment by staff member Mary. While my children and mother were getting breakfast, which we had already paid for, Mary came over and yelled at my children in front of everyone, demanding we pay $15 per person. Her tone and behavior were aggressive, humiliating, and felt directly targeted. I immediately brought the issue to the front desk Krystal. Krystal informed me she would speak with the Front Desk Manager and the General Manager, Dupre. Krystal was very kind and understanding. After returning back to the dining area the situation escalated further when the Housekeeping Manager Mrs. Dee came out and told Mary directly that her behavior was inappropriate. Mary dismissed this entirely, responding, “If they don’t like it, they can talk to the GM. He is in the back.” Multiple employees admitted this is not the first time Mary has behaved like this. Mrs.Dee ensured that we had fresh breakfast to come out after we were refused food. Several guests who witnessed the incident even came up to apologize to us afterward, stating she did not treat them that way, which only reinforced how inappropriate and discriminatory her behavior toward my family was. Even worse, the General Manager, Dupre, was in the building but refused to come out, instructed staff to say he wasn’t there, and claimed he “doesn’t work weekends.” This complete avoidance of responsibility made the situation even more unacceptable. My family was publicly embarrassed, disrespected, and treated in a way that absolutely does not align with Hilton’s standards.
