    After our stay, my wife contact the hotel several times, both via email and phone calls, to ask about a lost item. She never received a call back nor did they respond to her emails.

    As a preamble let me emphasise this was chosen for me by travel agent and I generally go for the better value no frills market, so may be out of touch with hotels at higher ranges. On the positive side, this is well positioned, Broadway and Nissan stadium all are walkable from here so no taxi/ uber fares to add to your budget On the negative side, for the room rate, was expecting frills and there weren't any. No individual toiletries just the multiple use locked to the wall ones u get lower down the chain, only basic channels on tv, no greeting information, you had to scan qr code on your phone, do hotels not realise how impersonal this is? Main shock to the system was on top of room rate they wanted $100 deposit per night per room, so on arrival was met with demand for $500 which was a huge hit as I do not use credit cards. Found that way over the top and gave me a poor impression and unwelcome. Think if a hotel wants a deposit based on number of nights, they should agree to return the daily rate each day, perhaps I am being naive and they were saying " if u think $500 is a lot of money, we don't really want you here." They lost through it, as the unwelcoming approach made me choose to drink in neighbouring bars instead
