Would not recommend this hotel.
We stayed for 2 nights and it was so crappy. When we checked in we did not get the Hilton honors rewards snack bag that many of them offer. We had checked in on the app but then they switched the room we had chosen. The one we got....The shower was disgusting. The tub was covered with black splotches. Is it mold? Is it hair dye? Who knows. The vent in the bathroom didn't work, the toilet struggled to flush, the light in the ceiling almost nothing. The conditioner and and body wash were empty. Beside the sink the soap was not on the wall and the vanity looked to have water damage.
Now moving to the bedroom portion, there was no TV remote, the pillows are terrible and the mattress will have your back begging for a chiropractor. The carpet is stained up and whatever you do don't drop something on the floor because you see all kinds of crumbs under the couch. Moving to the continental breakfast Monday at 9 am it was not very busy in the breakfast area but they just weren't keeping up with the food. There was no sausage or omelets for over 15 minutes, the yogurt were room temp and muffins stale. The waffle area was a complete disaster I'm not sure why it's so hard for people to use a dispenser for the batter.
Now onto parking, $35 a day for parking and it's not even through the hotel. They have you can a qr code then you get a text and fill out info through a third party it's weird. I've stayed at many hotels but never had third party parking like this. Didn't like it.
Now the final topic is like to complain about is the side doors of the hotel. We parked on the side of the building by the doors and then they were not functioning and we had to walk around with are things. It just doesn't seem like they do a very good job maintaining this place.
Now I know I've listed negative after negative but in a slight glimmer of hope they did respond in the Hilton app chat and delivered the soap and remote to the room at night which was nice.

It's my fault not seeing $35 parking prior to booking but the service is at 3rd party parking management without visible security. Hilton didn't even list correct info because there is a 20% tax additional for parking.
Even if you don't need to pay parking, don't waste your money unless you really need to stay so close to the University, which I think the primary reason they don't care. The hotel is outdated with unprofessional housekeeping at rooms and services.

The room was thrashed and old but the size and the price was the best around. The wall was peeling and cracking, every baseboard was chipped and separating and I’m pretty sure the pillows gave me pink eye. But the price and location was the best in the area. Don’t know if it was worth it if you get a cleaner room it might be
Oh and they make you pay $42 to park in their own parking lot and I still got a ticket from the company that will not contact me back after providing them evidence. So I don’t know.

Excellent location to downtown, music row, and Vanderbilt hospital. Most comfortable bed I have ever slept on in a motel. We had a king room with a pullout couch. Had plenty of pillows which usually isn't the case. The breakfast was really good. They serve breakfast from 6-10. The girl started clearing stuff out about 9 and I think she should not try to clear stuff early. The eggs, smoked sausage and potatoes were good. The bagels were fresh. The coffee was strong and hot like it should be. They had a single waffle iron and one that made four mini waffles. I had the four mini ones and they were great. Would have loved to had biscuits and gravy but you can't have it all. Bacon would have been nice too and maybe some pastries.

They charge for parking, says 35.00, but when you pay to park they charge an additional $7.50 or over $42. A night in fees and taxes. Stay away this it shady business, so disappointed in Hilton!! Aside from deceptive advertising, if that wasnt enough, try sleeping on an old bed folded like a taco. I dont normally leave negative reviews, but would hate anyone to experience this..unless you like taking Luke warm showers because there is no hot water, sleeping on a caved in bed and paying $42 for parking recommend another hotel. Disappointed.
