Rooms are worn and dated. Time for a major refresh of the hotel. The owner has nerve charging $35 a day for self parking when the lot is 20% full. Staff is very nice.

I thought since this was part of Hilton chain that it would be a good hotel. Here is a list of issues: vanity floor is sticky, closet door is broken, closet railing is extremely dirty, there is dust on top of the soap and lotion dispensers and the is no soap to wash your hand in the bathroom. Thank goodness I brought my own soap!!! I will talk to the manager in the morning. The only good thing is that the bed is comfortable. The room needs to be cleaned 🙄🙄🙄not haphazardly cleaned.

Rooms were seriously outdated compared to other hotels in the area. I walked into my bathroom and stepped in a huge puddle of water, went down to let the front desk know and they didn’t even gonna offer to switch me rooms after already switching my room type from king to queen because they were overbooked. Wouldn’t recommend as there are much more quality hotels in the area! And parking was $85 for two nights which was outrageous!

To the owner. Thank you for your response. The manager that I spoke with was extremely nice. We stated there is August and it took until October to get her because they gave me the wrong name. She was extremely nice. I do appreciate the refund. I'd like to know when you're going to update and clean the hotel. Also , your HVCA need to address along with carpet and wallpaper. I expect more in the Vandy area. What exactly is bring done to make sure the patients are in a healthy environment at the hotel?
There was a pool smell coming from our room. The front desk said they had been working in that area all day. Front desk involved maintenance and we had to wait almost 30 minutes for another room. Got to that room and the HVCA was full of mold. The room hadn't been cleaned completely. No bedskirt on the bed and crumbs was on the nightstand. The biggest problem was the mold. The unit was full of visible mold. The issue for me with the mold. We were there for treatment at Vandy because we are on a stage 4 small cell lung cancer journey with my husband. We went back to the other room where she had ran an ozone machine. The room smelled clean. But there was moisture on the floor by the HVCA. We were there for treatment but it ended up with my husband being admitted for low oxygen. Mold causes respirator issues. I've left at least 5 message for Stacy Peller and from August to now I haven't received a call back. This is a serious issue because what I learned is that they house a lot of patients for vandy when they are there for treatment or visits. These people are ill! The last thing they need is mold and moisture in rooms. There are so many patients that comes through that hotel that they even have oxygen and wheelchairs available for people. I was shocked at the standard of the hotel and how dated and nasty it is. This needs to be addressed sooner than later.
