    This was a great hotel by any standard; I am continually and consistently impressed by Hampton inn. This is important, though, if you're staying here to go to the airport. Arrange and schedule the shuttle to the airport when you check in. It's much cheaper to park at the long-term parking at the hotel, $10 a day, then it is to park long-term at the airport. Plus you don't have to walk as far. But, wait outside when it's time for the shuttle to pick you up. They will not come in and announce their departure, they will not look for you, they will not actively make sure they are not leaving someone behind. We were finishing our breakfast and sitting at a table and when it was 2 minutes after I went up to the counter and the shuttle had already left. Learn from my mistake!

    The sliding barn door in my parents' room was broken, so it was dragging (resting) on the floor. My parents reported it to the front desk (Terrence) after check-in on Friday night and was told that maintenance would be in at 8:30 in the morning. My mother emphasized that they are elderly and it was too difficult to lift the door. So the couldn't close the door when they usednthe restroom, not couldn't they use the closet. We reported it again (Stacy or Stephanie) later in the morning and she said that it would be fixed. We were out all day long. Came back after 9pm and the door was still broken. Anyway, they promised to comp 1 night, but they would not have to do that if they would have just fixed the door. Also, the safe didn't work. We reported that also. The breakfast was mediocre.
