  Our vehicle window was busted in on 11/13/25 while in the parking lot of the hotel. Our insurance company had the glass replaced while we were on vacation. 4 days into our trip, the hotel calls to inform us our window was busted out again. REALLY....Get some security guards to monitor the parking lot. UNACCEPTABLE

  ATTENTION READ THIS BEFOR BOOKING... This place is nice and clean the staff is nice as well but with that being said Do not stay here if you are not ready to spend money on repairs to your vehicle. Hotels are quick to take deposits for damages but are not responsible if the damages happen to you or your property.

  Clean, comfortable, and a great stay for the price! I was thinking that the complementary breakfast might be minimal, but it was great! They had a good selection of hot and cold foods. If you are looking for luxury, this isn't the place. If you are looking for a nice place to stay at a really fair price, this is perfect. Kind of trendy. We did take advantage of the free bottled water, too.

  Checked in expecting a convenient shuttle to the convention center, only to find it was as fictional as the “amenities” page that mysteriously vanished from the hotel’s website right upon my arrival, despite me having double-checked for this service before booking months ago. Upon entering my room, I was warmly welcomed by a cockroach concierge who offered me a brief tour. The baby roaches, ever the attentive hosts, kindly pointed out the closet, mini-fridge, and bathroom sink—truly a full-service experience. One even stopped by my nightstand later to make sure I was tucked in. Five stars for teamwork. Every evening, I got the bonus workout of returning to the front desk after my keycard stopped working—because who doesn’t love re-checking into their own room nightly? And despite my “Do Not Disturb” sign, housekeeping took it as more of a suggestion than a commandment and helped themselves to my towels each day. Thoughtful, really. While the location near downtown and the airport was ideal, the hotel itself gave major “historic home flip” energy—looks charming in photos but full of surprises once you move in. While I am no stranger to southern bugs and understand this is part of life, next time, I’ll pay the extra cash to stay downtown in a nicer facility and avoid the uninvited roommates.

  My Mom and I arrived back at this hotel around midnight after attending a family wedding reception, and we were alarmed to find an unmarked security guard at the entrance carrying an AR-style rifle. This person carried the gun in hand down by his side and also had another pistol in his waist band. Man walked into the first set of sliding glass doors but was stopped at the second entrance because he did not have a key card. There were no visible markings, vehicle, or identification to indicate he was affiliated with this hotel or security. We immediately notified our Uber driver and he was very understanding and took us to a safe area until police were called. We were the second call to report this situation, and were told to stay away from the area. We also called the hotel to ask what was going on and the front desk employee said he was "skeptical" and was not sure who was trying to enter the building. Completely unaware of who he was or why he was there. This was incredibly unsettling, especially that late at night. For a hotel, this is a serious security issue and completely unacceptable. Guests should never have to question their safety or the credibility of someone armed and stationed outside of the property. The following morning we spoke to the manager who was very understanding of our concerns. We checked out of this hotel and moved our stay to a much safer side of town. What should have been a fun, relaxing trip quickly turned into a very scary experience.
