The hotel is conveniently located to Bridgestone arena and several other attractions and the rooms were clean and spacious. But, the elevators take AGES. There are five of them so you’d think it’d be speedy but alas. We were on the ninth floor and had to wait up to 20 minutes for an elevator. The breakfast was what you’d expect for a complimentary meal, except we had to wait for forks and cups as they were out. Valet - what a NIGHTMARE. presently waiting outside for 20 minutes for my vehicle as they won’t allow you to call ahead.

Our room on the 8th floor was nice. Clean, bright and spacious. My only issue with the room was the bathroom. The door was a weird slide door that didn't fully close. So, you had no real privacy in there. That was awkward and uncomfortable. The elevators are the biggest issue here. They don't have enough running and you have to wait for a long time. Plan for a wait coming and going because of this. The happy hour and breakfast buffet are definitely a 👍 perk! You could almost get by on what they offer you for free each day! The location of this hotel is quite good. It's very near Broadway and lots of things to do. However, an issue with this area, and downtown Nashville in general, is a complete lack of any kind of convenience store! If you need a pharmacy or any kind of last minute business or personal items you are COMPLETELY out of luck! The nearest pharmacy is six or seven blocks away. There's NOTHING anywhere close! That said, I don't understand why the hotel, which caters to business people and conventions, doesn't carry some basic items. We needed packing tape and some pain killers. The hotel offers none of that and we were constantly huffing it almost a mile just for simple things.

I read a 5 star review citing this is a "posh" hotel. Unless there is a part of the building that I'm not aware of, posh does not come into play. It was an odd Embassy Suites. When we arrived, we were put in the wrong room. We were moved to a Panoramic Skyview Suite which would have been nice if the blackout curtains closed and weren't hanging halfway off the rods. The man, don't know if he were a manager, who took us to the room, when I brought up the curtains did not close all of the way, he cited "No one will want to see in here". I did not really know how to take that. Then the toilet was broken so we had a very nice maintenance guy come up and start working on it. We were moved again to room 1222 which was a nice suite. Ok now every. single. day. was a struggle. We had a Keurig for coffee but no coffee but tea that was for a different machine. There are no clocks on the nightstands. The phones in the rooms were not charged so we kept having to go down to the front desk. They ration water. You get two bottles of water per day per room. We have a coffee maker, finally coffee pods but they make you buy water if you drink the two bottles throughout the day. The girls at the front desk were not friendly. They treated guests as irritants. I was overcharged for our room. In-room dining is an ordeal, we ended up opting out and ordered food from Hattie's door dash. The restaurant atop the hotel where the pool is, you eat and smell chlorine. We ate up there once and were brought out food and had to go to the bar to get silverware, napkins. The floors in the rooms are wood, except for the bedroom area, so you could hear people with hard sole shoes walking around. Room 1222 was nice, clean, the blackout curtains worked and were not hanging off the rods at the tops as the previous room, but the entire stay was a struggle. Again, if you score to get a nice, clean room, good on you. After three room changes and getting charged over $2500 as soon as we checked in and the cluster, begging for water, etc. every single day throughout the day this hotel made our visit to Nashville a one and done. We should have stayed with the Omni, i.e. "Posh". The Embassy Suites Downtown Nashville is not "posh". It was all very odd. Lastly, pay attention to the credit card you give them. I know this is a cluster review but that's how our stay shook out. Oh, housekeeping was very nice however there was a language barrier. My son used an App to help translate which worked very well. We tipped housekeeping very well. Reading the reviews regarding the elevators are true. They are slow. One woman waited for 35 minutes. We made sure the day we departed for the airport that we gauged the elevator issue so we could get down to our Uber and not miss our flight. There's no place like home.

We checked into room 1106 today. The room is really nice. So spacious with lots of storage and counter space. One of the best rooms i have stayed in and we travel a lot. However, one of my biggest pet peeve in a hotel is cleanliness. I started the shower, stepped in to shower and i find hairs. See pictures. Not something you want to encounter as you yourself are trying to get clean..🤮..I had to step out and wipe down the shower. Only to find a soda can in the bathroom trash can as i was throwing away wipes. Obviously, the trash was not emptied. The drinking glasses are very spotty, but i washed them as well. I also just found out that there is currently no internet access available. They have been having these issues for about a week per the staff. Our stay is coming to an end here in Nashville. Rocky start with the cleanliness of the room, but i have to say that the staff have made every effort to make it right. I appreciate that!! The stay has been great. The daily breakfast here in the hotel was wonderful. We have enjoyed all the highlights of Nashville and i have particularly enjoyed people watching from our 11th floor room on the Bridgestone arena side of the hotel. We look forward to visiting again and we will be staying at the Embassy again as well.

It was a front desk employee, Caucasian woman, by the name of Sarah working the hours of 2pm on November 1,2025. Me and my husband were asking about happy hours for the complimentary drinks. Sarah answered me and said “What” I’m not to sure if working in hospitality a clerk suppose to respond to “Ma’am” with a “What” that was really rude, and very unprofessional I felt kind of disrespected and the hotel is too beautiful for that kind of personality.
