Mixed Stay — Clean Room, But Staff and Breakfast Were Disappointing
The room itself was clean and everything worked fine, so no complaints there. But that's about where the positives end.
When I called to add Friday night to my Saturday reservation and asked if the same rate could be matched, I was completely ignored — not a great first impression. Same thing when I asked the front desk for a contact email to submit feedback: ignored again. The staff here has a real habit of pretending they didn't hear you.
Breakfast was the biggest letdown. I specifically look for a decent free breakfast when booking, and this fell flat both days. Saturday at 7:10am — ten minutes into the breakfast window — the biscuits were doughy in the middle, the turkey sausage was swimming in grease, and the eggs looked like they'd been sitting since Friday. I flagged it at the front desk and was brushed off with some story about how breakfast was nearly gone already.
I've stayed at hotels across the country and have never once seen a weekend breakfast wiped out in ten minutes. Sunday morning the attendant was still setting up around the same time. The pancake maker wasn't on either day.
The room is solid and the price may be right, but if you're counting on the breakfast or expecting attentive staff, temper your expectations significantly.

Easy to get to. Rooms are clean and roomy. Here for work and it is a very nice room in a good location.
Just stayed this past week for our bachelorette! Just opened and newly renovated super cute location very friendly staff!! Away from the craziness of the city but everything is within close proximity. Will be staying again!!
There is something odd happening at this Holiday Inn Express. The general manager and owner would not reply to an inquiry I sent via email and then again through IHG's official channels. There could be employee theft or corruption at the GM/owner level, but something is really off here. I don't recommend staying here because if you have even the smallest problem, they will not take care of it. Instead, they set the inquiry as "resolved" without doing anything. This is unacceptable.
If the GM, Parker Martin, wants to respond to my emails and inquiries, I will modify this review, but as for now, DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL.
Edit: The hotel operator responded that they were not in business at that time. That is inaccurate. I went all the way up the chain to IHG Corporate about this. The response appears to be damage control. HOWEVER, if they are under new management, the issues I posted about could be resolved. Just don't try to whitewash the situation. Own it, improve upon it, and move on.
