My first experience at this hotel. Great location and beds very comfy. Was surprised when my room wasn’t cleaned on the first day. We returned at 6pm and Room still not cleaned. When I asking when it might be done, the response from reception was that they had a heavy check out. Surely they know how many guests are residing! I was asked if I would like it cleaned ? Is this something I need to request. I assume this is common practice in hotels. Further more cups/ glasses not washed and drilling/roadworks outside all evening /night resulting in a sleepless night We were not made aware of this when checking in. Disappointing

I came here for a conference. The service was amazing at the Corner Bar and restaurant. No complaints for the conference experience. My lower score is for the room itself. The walls are thin. I could hear my neighbors entire conversation at all hours of the day. Sleeping was extremely hard which is sad for the price. I get that the hotel is older but if you’re looking for rest, I’d say find a different hotel in the area. If you’re looking for ambiance and experience, this is the place for you.

This is a gorgeous hotel. Great location. It gives the ambiance of luxury and history. The ducks are cute novelty. The negatives are surly service. An arrogance. A sense of presumption and indifference. We have travelled right through the USA on a huge road trip, stayed in motels and hotels, this was supposed to a treat, but it has been the most grumpy service of any place we have stayed, visited or eaten! A cup of hot tea is an inconvenience. Everything is too much as apposed to nothing is too much. We are not wealthy people, this was us spending hard earned money, we are from the UK. We expected better from you! Hairs in the bathroom, serious levels of dust in the breakfast restaurant and not a smile anywhere. We run a business and this attitude comes from the top. So Peabody get over yourself and treat us with the respect we deserve!

My stay at The Peabody Hotel in Memphis was so enjoyable that I felt it deserved a full review. From the moment I walked into the lobby, the atmosphere felt grand, elegant, and truly one-of-a-kind. The staff was welcoming, professional, and genuinely attentive, making the entire experience feel warm and effortless. Every interaction—from check-in to dining—was handled with care and friendly Southern hospitality. One of the absolute highlights for me was the famous Peabody Duck Parade. Watching the ducks march to the fountain is pure joy and something you simply cannot experience anywhere else. It’s charming, unique, and adds a level of delight that makes the Peabody feel special in a way that goes beyond just being a hotel. The crowd’s excitement, the music, and the history behind the tradition all come together to create a moment you’ll never forget. My room was beautiful, clean, and comfortable, with thoughtful touches that made it easy to relax. The hotel itself is stunning, with rich details, historic charm, and a timeless elegance that you notice everywhere you turn. If you’re visiting Memphis and want a memorable, top-tier experience—complete with the unforgettable duck parade—the Peabody is truly the perfect place to stay.

It's been a long time that I’ve stayed at a hotel and not encountered some kind of problem- The Peabody exceeded my expectations! Everything was great! Customer service was top tier! I really wish I could remember everyone's names I encountered when checking in, order room service, asking questions, and checking out because they all were incredibly nice & professional. China, Jack, Keila, Rita, and a lady who's name started with a Z are just a few that I could remember but they all were phenomenal! I'd definitely return to the Peabody whenever I am in Memphis! The entire staff deserves recognition & raises! Thank you all!
