First off let me say that The Peabody is a beautiful hotel and the staff were pleasant. My husband and I decided to stay 1 night Feb 5th 2026 for our anniversary. I reserved a queen room and when we checked in they offered an upgrade for $30 to a King room that was going to be a little bigger but we declined since we were only staying one night. They then said they gave us same room I reserved but with a king bed instead of queen. I thanked them for that. We then got to the room and it was very clean but honestly alot smaller than anticipated for the price you pay to stay there. The bathroom was extremely small and barely gave you room to even sit on the toilet. I called down to ask for ice and mentioned the bathroom and they never even responded to my comment. When we checked out they asked if they stay was pleasant and again we said it wasnt really what was expected and still they didnt say anything. So was it nice to stay there yes but I wont stay again for that price knowing you can barely even use the toilet in the rooms.

From the minute our cab pulled in to when we checked out everything was great. This hotel is beautiful. The signature cocktail The Rubber Ducky was tasty. The room was great and of course the duck parade was everything I've been waiting for even at 49 years old ! Kenon definitely loves his job and it shows

As a local I've never actually stayed in the hotel, but I used to come here all the time with my grandma to see the ducks. Speaking of witch once when I was 12 me, my brother, and little cousin got to roll out the red carpet for the ducks to walk on.

The room is very poorly maintained. We stayed there last night, and the toilet would run every 30 seconds due to a leak in the plug in the tank, and we couldn’t fix it. And under one of the night stands there was a light that would go on and off every 30 seconds. When we discovered these issues it was too late in the evening to change rooms. I was awake a lot of the night, got s terrible night’s sleep.
Aside from that, the lobby is lovely and the ducks are amazing. I just wish we hadn’t gotten a lemon of a room.

I stayed at The Peabody Hotel in mid-November for four nights and had an absolutely outstanding experience. I was in a corner room, and it was true five-star luxury—an incredibly comfortable king bed, a spacious and well-appointed bathroom, and a cozy sitting area that made the room feel both elegant and relaxing.
The true highlight of the stay, of course, was the famous Peabody Ducks. Watching them come down from the rooftop in the morning and waddle into the lobby fountain was unforgettable, and the 5 p.m. Duck March—when they’re paraded back to the elevators and upstairs—was pure Memphis charm and a must-see experience.
Parking was easy and convenient, with both valet and self-parking available in the on-site garage. There’s not a huge price difference between the two, so if you prefer valet, it’s absolutely worth spending the extra few dollars and letting them handle it.
The service across the board was exceptional. Every staff member I encountered was friendly, professional, and welcoming. Housekeeping was on point throughout my stay. Room service was delightful—I ordered breakfast one morning and dinner another evening, and both were excellent. I also spent time at the bar, which had great service and a classic, upscale atmosphere.
The Peabody is a historic icon in downtown Memphis, perfectly located right in the heart of everything. Between the luxury accommodations, legendary traditions, top-tier service, and unbeatable location, this hotel more than lives up to its reputation. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Memphis.
