The Peabody was an absolute pleasure for this business trip. This national landmark was a gorgeous hotel with so much history. Very well maintained with beautiful rooms. The hotel has a duck theme and has a historical "Duck Walk" where a Duck Master marches 5 ducks along a red carpet in the lobby to the grand fountain. They march them down from their bin on the roof in the elevator at 11 am and then march them back up at 5pm. The whole thing is a spectacle and the lobby is packed with guests.

The hotel is beautiful, from the lobby to the guest rooms to the meeting spaces. Staff of all very friendly and helpful. While gorgeous, the guest rooms have very small restrooms. The shower is very cramped, and there’s little to no counter space for toiletries. The walls between rooms must be very thin, as I could hear my neighbor’s snoring clearly, and the TV in the other neighboring room woke me in the morning.

I stayed at the Peabody for Valentine's Weekend and I had the best time ever. Kelsea checked me in and she greeted me with a big smile. She was super nice and fast. The room was nice and very clean, the lobby bar was lively and fun. But the Duck Master. He was amazing. So friendly, so attentive, and he was everywhere at all times lol. My time here was 10/10 and I can't wait to come back!

Duck Master and duck walk were amazing! Drinks and food are off the charts expensive (and not warranted by the quality). Italian restaurant and the Corner Bar had horrible customer service (from the bartender having what appeared to be a bad day, right up until it was time for me to settle the check, then there was a slight smile, to the “waiter” in the “Italian Steakhouse” where service was very slow and he seemed to disappear a number of times for way too long (table next to us got up and left because they hadn’t been waited on for 20 minutes). Room service and reception staff were wonderful. Deluxe room was spacious, but the bathroom was crazy small, including the shorter than standard tub. Great location (walking distance to the famous Beale Street).

I’ll never choose this hotel for anything special. They gave our reserved table away at Cappricio Grill. Ordered room service they told me it would be 1 hour. Waited 2– still nothing. Asked them not to bring bc we didn’t want to wait any longer as it’s 1am, but this has been the absolute worst of valentines days. I spent SO much money trying to make this go right. Even booked reservations and room months ago to avoid hiccups like what we’ve encountered. Never again. Update: food arrived! Crème brûlée was cold and burnt, didn’t bring entire order but was charged for it!
