Upgrading to King Deluxe room to enhance our short stay from longhaul flight from UK. Gorgeous hotel and time however we are positioned close to lifts and very noisy, enough to complain to Security as room next door have music on loud and people talking noisily and swearing. Security came promptly and said "we gotcha!" Beale Street is like a Ghost Town, safe walking distance from Hotel during day. The National Guard we have been told are recently in Memphis which is reassuring. Graceland and Sun Studios we took Taxi to & from & worthy of the Travelling from UK. We have been told the Zoo is worthy of going too! There is alot of students staying at Hotel extremely polite during day....

My husband and I have stayed perviously at the Peabody and were looking forward to spending Christmas with our granddaughter there again. Our previous experiences have been so nice we were expecting that same level of care and attention again. Sadly, we did not receive the same service this time. We were so disappointed as we had told our granddaughter how delightful the Peabody was. I would have to say the only thing Grand about this beautiful and historic hotel is the building itself. The staff within were sour and downright rude. For some reason, almost all of the female staff were exceptionally unkind. It just felt like I had been punched in the stomach. Why were these women so hateful ?? They acted as if they were superior and couldn’t be bothered. The one young lady I must point out to the owner, I do hope you see this, was Miss Lena ( I may not have the spelling of her name correct). She was our server at the Christmas buffet. Oh my goodness, she was so gracious. For the most part, the other female staff, those at the front desk and in the pastry shop to be specific , were hateful beyond anything I've ever seen at such a nice hotel. When we checked out I asked to speak to the manager and was told one was not on site , that I could leave a message. I asked why no one at the front desk greeted us upon arrival , why no one smiled or even looked at you when you spoke. Upon checkout, the same thing. We traveled quite a distance and spent a good deal of money as we stayed 3 nights , not to mention 2 nights on the road in other hotels . We bought cocktails, ate at the restaurant in the hotel, bought pastries, purchased gifts in the hotel shops, dined at the Christmas buffet. All to be treated as if we were a bother in some way.
We will not return to the Peabody. I wish our granddaughter could have witnessed what we once encountered at the Peabody and I wish people could just be nice, especially when it’s their job to do so.

Stayed recently for my daughter's 11th birthday right before New Year's. You can literally step out onto Beale Street from the Peabody. But who even wants to when staying inside is so beautiful?
Service was beyond awesome
The room was beautiful, the bathroom was not too small but perfect sized.
They left a birthday cupcake in the room to greet my daughter.
It was the most beautiful hotel, the best stay and a memory I will keep the rest of my life, tho I hope to return many times.
Would recommend a million times.
It was awesome and we felt completely safe
The hotel smells absolutely delicious!!!!!

Club level. I have stayed in many degrees of accommodation and THIS is how it’s done well. We used the restaurant, club service, guest services (thank you Sonja)…Met the duck steward, Keenon, awesome service-oriented people. I last-minute checked in on a busy Friday, and check-in took particularly good care of us. While other places have location experiences you may enjoy in Memphis, I will stay here exclusively, in the future. Have no idea how they manage to get such good staffing, being in business, myself.

I had a two night stay at this hotel and expected the same, excellent service that I received several years ago. Instead, I had to move after one night because of an awful sewage deluge that came down from the ceiling in the bathroom. It took some effort to move, but I was moved to another room. The computers were down at checkout, but they promised to email me the bill. Instead, I had to call to get it and noted a charge for an umbrella. I asked for this charge to be removed, since I did not see or use an unbrella-and certainly did not take one. I s am still waiting for resolution after being told that it would be taken care of within 24 hours. I actually should have been credited for the room with the sewage leak, but they charged me for an umbrella. Never again!
