I am a lifetime diamond and stay on Hilton properties almost every week. I was travel with my daughter and grandkids and arrived late, around midnight. There was a homeless person smoking weed at the front entrance. The desk person had to let me in. I told him I had done online checkin but wanted a key because I had just driven 12 hours and will be bringing toddlers in. I gave him my DL. He said I was at the wrong hotel because I didn't have a reservation. I told him it was room 204. He said the guest in that room was not me. I asked if there was another Hilton property close and he said are you supposed to be at Wolfchase. I again told him that I used the address from my reservation and gps to get here. I went out and pulled the car around and got my phone which had a digital key. I used the digital key to get in. Obviously I was a registered guest. I showed him my phone and he told be I was not a guest there and I was in the wrong place. I asked if I could buy another room and he said no. I decided to go to my room. Sure enough my phone opened the door and the room was empty. The desk guy called the room and I answer and he says he was mistaken and it was my room. Dude, I am in the room. Duh. Horrible experience.

As a Hilton Diamond member, I typically stay in Hilton hotels, but I am disappointed with the beds in this particular hotel. The mattresses are stiff and appear to be worn, causing discomfort when sleeping.

Such a disappointment. We canceled on the spot and went to a Marriott property across town.
We travel, a lot. For work and for fun. This isn’t our first rodeo. My wife who has Hilton status checked in online a day before arriving. Despite this the front desk agent couldn’t find evidence of checkin and required a bunch of unnecessary paperwork. Things really fell apart when they didn’t have a pack and play for our toddler. These are commonplace— especially at hotels —like Home2Suites— which cater to family travel. Apparently this 100+ room property has just two and both were in use on this sleepy Monday evening. Typically these franchised brands have another property across the street or nearby and can share supplies that has happened for is before, no fuss. Either this is a stand alone (rare) or they just weren’t interested in helping us. So off to Marriott we go.

This hotel is conveniently located to many things we wanted to look at while staying for the night. The staff was nothing but nice and helpful the entire time even though we were a walk in and didn't have a reservation. It's one of the best Home2 suites we've been to, and I hope we get to stay there again on our way home. The only downside is that breakfast doesnt start until 6 and we had to be on the road again by then.

I don’t know the name of whoever works overnight at the front desk but he is an absolute jerk. I had to check in at almost 1am because I had a late flight and I was locked in the vestibule for at least five minutes because he didn’t come out when I rang the call button (which I could hear from where i was standing and he certainly heard it too wherever he was refusing to come out from) Thank god an uber eats driver had someone let us both in to pick up his food or I would’ve been trapped for who knows how long. Then I get to the front desk and he doesn’t say “hello, how can I help you,” he just flatly says “what is it?” …Rude much??? Then I explain to him that I’m with a group and I need to get into my room and he speaks to me as if I were a child “yeah all those keys were given out earlier I don’t have a key for you.” And when I ask him to make me a new one he looks at me as though I have 3 heads. I stay at hotels constantly for work. I lose my hotel keys every other week. Making new keys is probably half of what a receptionist does. I call my manager who confirms that my key should be at the front desk and then the receptionist finally does his freaking job, looks up my name, makes me a key, and doesn’t even direct me towards the elevator before walking away without saying anything else. The hotel itself is fine. But whoever this man is, he is a terrible receptionist and horrible at customer service. Maybe he thought I was a delivery person, even though I had two suitcases with me, but I don’t really care. Do better. Hire better staff.
