- KHKapn HJan 1, 20263.0My mom, son, and myself just stayed here for 4 nights on the spur of the moment to spend time near a family member in hospice care. The staff members were nice and pleasant to work with. However, the toilet seat was wobbly and the toilet tissue holder is very inconvenient especially for older or disabled people to reach. The towels were rough like sandpaper. Both issues can be fixed easily enough, but felt it was worth mentioning. Can't fix issues you don't know to look for. One day we received no housekeeping services and the next day only had trash removed. No bag was replaced in the bathroom or toilet paper which was very low for 3 people in the room. When I asked the front desk for replacement toilet paper and trash bag, I feel they tried their best to accommodate but they should have access to available supplies if no housekeeping staff are present on site. My biggest concern is with the night audit system. My account ended up with 5 pending charges 2 for 559.55, 1 for 247, and 2 for 125 with an additional 509.55 charge paid for the cost of the 4 nights. This put my account into a deficit. The pending charges holding for 7 days. People traveling may find this inconvenient which causes stress and disgruntled guests. The front desk employees and even the security guard our first night tried to help remedy this situation, but nothing was actually fixed. I was told I would have to have my bank write a statement to get the funds released, but it's also a holiday. I even showed the staff each day another pending charge was added. In my opinion this is not a best practice. I was pleasant and courteous with the staff, but I am not happy with this experience.

The next time I'm in Memphis, they got all of my business. You got to have a room pass for everything,even to park your vehicle. 🙌🙌🙌🙌
