This hotel is gross. Our bed had a big stain on the comforter, when we asked for another they brought up a thin cheap blanket instead. There is water damage on the wall under a sprinkler, mold has to be growing behind the pealing paint. Bath room was dirty. Extremely disappointed in our room. No hot water either. Run away from this place. Seriously gross

The main reason for zero star is, they charge me a parking fee even though I did not park there. I had stayed there for four nights in November and after check out they charge me an additional $136 of parking and city fees later when I call them, they say it’s a parking charge and it ischarge by third party which they don’t have control over. My question is I never gave my credit card info to any valet parking third-party. All it was my card info on file at holiday inn account. How come the third party (valet parking) able to charge my card on file without the hotel management involvement. I believe it’s a scam, parking company is doing with the help of hotel staff. Remember I never parked at hotel. I had called they few times and was told they will get back to me bust guess what no call back. I like to stay at Holiday Inn because I like them but after this incident, I’m gonna choose a different hotel next time when I’m I have to say night somewhere Room was bit smelly like they been closed for long time with no air. Thank you holiday inn for not helping me.

Here’s a polished, clear, and professional We visited Memphis and chose this hotel because it was close to the places we planned to see. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing from the moment we arrived. There was a noticeable odor of marijuana in the lobby, and the overall cleanliness of the hotel was poor. Our room did not appear clean, the bathroom had water stains under the toilet, and the sink was dirty. We also had an issue with the hot water it took more than 10 minutes of running the faucet before it warmed up. Because of these conditions, we decided to move our stay to the Holiday Inn Medical Center. That hotel was significantly better much cleaner, with excellent customer service.

Just trying have a fun night out with family after a Tigers basketball game. The hotel is in a great location if you're interested in visiting downtown Memphis. The valet parking is a nice feature. Staff seemed very friendly and accommodating. The hotel rooms are a bit outdated & dark. The TV is kinda awkward to work, you have to scroll up like twelve channels and then you can start finding shows to watch. They only gave us two sets of towels for a double room. I personally miss pump style soap/ shampoo/ conditioner mounted in the bathroom. They did have little travel bottles for you to use. Not enough for 3 people in a room. The heat didn't work in our first room. Heat worked almost to good in the second room, but the a/c wouldn't come on to cool it back down. The noise from the street is loud, even on 7th & 8th floor. This is NOT the hotels fault, but all night long you hear cars running over the metal plates covering bad spots on the road. Again, not really the hotels fault. Top it off with getting woke up by the fire alarm going off early Sunday morning 12/07/25 was not great! Our stay was an anniversary night plus a couple thousand points, I would really have been upset had I paid out of pocket full price. Not my greatest experience & I stay in a lot of hotels throughout the year. Maybe it was just on off night!

I stayed at this hotel for Thanksgiving 2024 and it was a pleasant stay hence why I booked again for Thanksgiving 2025. I had a late check in due to travel and holiday plans with family. I walked in and stood in the lobby for 4 minutes with no greeting or acknowledgment from the front desk representative (night auditor). He was leaned over on the desk in his phone. The valet gentlemen comes around the corner and says, ‘Hey!’, which startled the front desk worker and he apologized for not greeting me. Check in is complete and continue to the room and sleep because it has been a full travel and entertainment day. The next day (11/28/25), I went to the front desk to request new, CLEAN towels due to the ones in the room were dirty and had hair on them. The young lady at the front desk was kind and immediately radioed housekeeping. This was at 11:15 A.M. At 12:04 P.M. housekeeping comes to the room and bangs on the door due to it being check out time. I notified her of the situation of not having any clean towels preventing me from being able to shower. I also mentioned I requested new towels. That was like talking to a brick wall. The housekeeping lady DID NOT CARE! She stated, ‘It’s check out time so y’all gotta go. Are y’all staying over or checking out? Which one?’ Startled at the interaction that is taking place, I told her in a stern voice that had there been clean towels already in the room, we wouldn’t be having this convo and I would be out at checkout time. She states that the hotel is sold out and has no additional towels. To prevent this interaction from getting worse, I just closed the door. She then comes back and asks me to put the dirty towels with hair in a clear plastic garbage bag and states that more towels are in laundry. At 12:33, the same housekeeper brought clean towels. She did not know, but I was on the phone making a complaint and the guest service agent heard her remarks, tone, and lack of customer service. I packed all my bags and left. I will NEVER stay at this property again because of this interaction. 2024 and 2025 was a huge downgrade. Dirty towels speaks of the cleanliness of the hotel. The trash in the hallways, dirty elevators, filthy showers are a different topic. There needs to be some sort of customer service training because it seriously lacks general customer service. As a former sales director and AGM, this would be be zero tolerance. I debated writing a public review, but this needs to be known by the public and not just pushed under the rug with no accountability and a sorry email from the hotel with no action plan(s) put in place. Very disappointing.
