    The vibe in this hotel was amazing! i will definitely be returning when i get back to Memphis. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Very professional! Keep up the good work!

    I was very disappointed with both the customer service and the hotel accommodations. I specifically reserved a room with one bed and a standard sofa bed, but when I arrived, there was no sofa bed — not even a sofa. Instead, the room had a chaise lounge, which was narrow and too short for an adult to sleep on comfortably (nevermind that we booked the room for 4 people and planned for 2 people to sleep on the "sofa bed"). This was not what was advertised or what I paid for. Further, when I requested linens and a pillow for the "sofa bed"- they were out of pillows. Response from staff was unhelpful and dismissive since "it was a full house" and I could "call Kaden on Monday." It's Friday. Really, there is zero support or customer service until Monday? Overall, the experience did not meet expectations, and I would not stay here again.

    We stayed at this hotel for three nights, and unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing from the moment we checked in. I had reserved a room with a king bed and a sofa bed since we were traveling with children for a soccer tournament. At check-in, I was told the hotel was overbooked and that nothing could be done. We were given a room with only a king bed, which meant my children had to sleep on the floor. When we arrived in the room, there was no shampoo available. I went downstairs to request shampoo, extra towels, and pillows, given the situation. I was told they only had pool towels available and no extra pillows. This made an already inconvenient situation even worse. I was instructed to call on Monday to speak with the manager. However, I emailed that same Friday to report the issues and was told the manager would be contacted. On Sunday, I followed up again and told them that no one had reached out to me yet. They said they were going to send another email to the manager. To this day, I have not been contacted. We have been loyal IHG customers for many years and have never experienced anything like this before. Additionally, the breakfast quality was poor. Overall, this stay did not meet basic hospitality standards, and unfortunately, I cannot recommend this hotel.

    I decided to try Holiday Inn Express because I’d never stayed here before. I’ve stayed in several hotels in this area in Memphis, but I must say I am impressed! The young lady who checked me in was very courteous and helpful. I am so sorry that I forgot her name. I loved my room and the close proximity to the workout room and the ice machine. I knowwwww that I will return for another visit.

    I stopped visiting this hotel years ago because the facilities were severely outdated. However, after seeing recent Google reviews mentioning a renovation, I decided to give it another chance with some expectations. Unfortunately, this visit only proved that proper maintenance is far more important than just a physical renovation. ​The overall level of cleanliness and upkeep was unacceptably low: ​Hygiene Issues: As soon as I entered the bathroom, I saw small flies buzzing around. I had to block all the drains with tissue paper myself. ​Air Quality: When I turned on the heater, it emitted such a heavy, dusty smell that I had to leave the door open for a significant amount of time to ventilate the room. ​Filthy Furniture: The sofa and stool in the room were so stained and dirty that I couldn't even think about sitting on them. ​Broken Fixtures: One of the two semi-blinds on the window was missing/broken and had never been replaced. ​A renovation is meaningless if the cleaning and maintenance standards remain this poor. The hotel will quickly regain its "outdated" reputation if this continues. The owners seriously need to discuss these operational failures with their management team to make drastic improvements.
