We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn for New Year's Eve. We did the Peabodys New Years party and the Hilton is practically next door. The service was great, employees were very helpful, friendly and attentive. There were even fresh baked cookies the lobby for guests. The hotel was clean and nicely decorated. The room was clean and smelled fresh. It was a busy night but we didn't hear noise from the hall at all. They have a lounge called the Greyhound , (as this plot of land was the old Greyhound station when I was a kid). The lounge was nice and had a piano singer, with contemporary decor and good drinks.

Very nice place to stay downtown. Security was good, Location was good, and most importantly, the lady at the desk, Lenisia was phenomenal! She was so kind and took the time to recommend places around town we should eat. Five stars for her, too :)

My family stayed here on our way to the space center. We also visited some local attractions.
The room was decent but the shower floor was dirty(photo attached)
There was confusion in our online booking regarding breakfast. This was complicated by the lack of signage around breakfast in the room, in the lobby, and in the dining area regarding breakfast or charges for breakfast.
There was no host stand with menus or pricing.
By the time my family was able to speak to someone about where the milk was or where some breakfast options were we already were subject to a charge for breakfast.
While I was waiting there I saw another gentleman with the US Navy who grabbed some fruit to take up to his room. He was hussled for a few dollars that likely went to the server since there was no bill presented.
Given the lack of signage and the ambiguous nature of the breakfast billing arrangement. I would consider this a hussle. Don't touch anything in the lobby because you could be charged for it, and because there are no signs you don't know how much you will be charged until you are pressed for payment.
Avoid the hussle, avoid the dirty bathrooms. Avoid the Hilton Garden Inn.

This is a really nice hotel. Modern. Excellent location close to Beale St and AutoZone Park. I was especially impressed by the great customer service from the desk. Lunesia and I hope I’m spelling her name correctly was impressive. She is genuinely a friendly person. She was attentive. When I complimented the hotel she highlighted some of the great things about the hotel. Her recommendations for local food was great. She mentioned an event on the Saturday of my stay as if she were throwing the party herself. She took care of me as a guest as a welcomed guest staying in her home. Also, my stay was during the holidays so I’m sure she would rather spend it with family. Instead, she treated me as family. Thank you Lunesia. Thank you Hilton and please recognize her for her everything she does.
