We were here for the St.Jude Day of Rememberance. Got to our room and it only had one bed. The itinerary from St Jude said 2 beds. They were booked up so the bought up a cot. Went into the bathroom and all the new towels had fallen into the toilet. Went to take a shower and had no hot water. If your room ended in a 12 you had no hot water. Had breakfast the next morning. We had wet eggs and sausage. They ran out of orange juice. Got ready to leave and only one elevator worked so it took quite awhile to get down to the first floor. They were clearly not ready for the amount of people that they had. I hope St. Jude does not use them again.

Overall everything was fine until the last day. Only one elevator works inside, it took 30 minutes to get off the floor. Then the garage elevator only had one working elevator as well. Once we started heading for the exit to the garage we along with several other people couldn’t get out of the garage. We were instructed to park, blocking the lanes and proceed back inside. However, you can’t get inside because they already took the keys back and you need a key. Once inside, yes I wasn’t nice to the front desk, but when an employee put a paper out and I go to grab it and then she yanks it back saying “now grab it nicely,” I didn’t react very well. Once outside I realized she gave me back the same bad parking tag, I had to walk back inside again. Going on almost an hour of just trying to leave the hotel at this point. She refused to give me the parking garage tag after I came in. The nice older man tried and she yelled at him not to. She would walk outside herself. I asked her if she thought it was cute that she did that with the tags and she said “yep, because you were rude.” I will own I wasn’t a happy customer but regardless esclating the situation as an employee is petty. She then refused to let the nice parking agent do his job and she stepped down to use the key tag. She then proceed to scream and cuss me out when I was already back in my car.
I’m not sure what kind of place this is. But I know I won’t be back. Up until that last hour the stay was fine.

Late check-in was smooth even with the streets blocked due to a NBA game. This hotel is literally in the center of everything. Housekeepers were friendly and attentive. Would have preferred more variety for the breakfast but understand "free" only gets you but so much. The convenience of many restaurants and activities just steps away really outweighs everything. Within walking distance of multiple museums, live music venues and the Riverwalk. Not recognized as Hilton Honors member if you book from 3rd party. Charged $150 for late checkout (3pm instead of 11am). Have requested in other cities & not been charged so will note this when returning. The earplugs provided are a nice touch because you do hear all the noice up until after 3am nightly. Highly recommend this hotel. It will be my hotel of choice for future trips.

Very friendly staff and they were very sweet and wanted to do extra once they realized that I was a vegetarian. I didn’t need anything extra but they tried. Loved our peaceful stay.

I was expecting a bit more out of this place. The staff is the saving grace of this place; they are all awesome. Breakfast is good too. The building itself is outdated and was smelly. I go onto the elevators, and it feels like in in an old horror movie. A bit rickety and super old buttons and old unflattering paint. Fine right? I step out of the elevator to the 2nd floor, and I'm greeted by the worst smell of feet and who knows what just wafting throughout the whole floor. When I got to my room there was less of a smell, but still a smell. I've never had to spay perfume on my bed to sleep until that night. Look, everything looked clean and presentable. Housekeeping did their part and so did front desk. But this building seriously needs to be updated. I will never stay here again because of the mysterious smells and creepy vibes I get from this place. Almost forgot, in the morning, my digital key deactivated after breakfast and I had to go downstairs to ask them to resend the key. And they did no problem. As I go back up to my room a woman in a yellow top who I PRAYY was management was at my door trying to use her key to open my room door...? She sees me looking confused and nervously backs away and says "Try your key maybe it will work" I used my digital key and thanked her but internally I was so uncomfortable. They never said they were gonna send someone up to my room to open my door. And it's incredibly unprofessional if they did so without my consent. Like, what was she doing trying to get in my room? So many red flags and I've never felt so uncomfortable and borderline unsafe at a hotel before, and I travel pretty frequently :(
