Germantown Embassy for the stay! We were in Memphis for the weekend and I would highly recommend this property. The front desk staff were very professional and helpful. The room and lobby were very clean!

No fault of the hotel, the distance from the event was too far. Needed to rent a vehicle in order to travel back and forth to the venue.

The hotel was very clean and the staff very helpful. The location felt like it was stuffed in-between a lot of thing but all in all a good stay

Desk worker was upset and displayed an attitude when I asked for accommodations for my infant. Called and asked for more blankets for the sofa bed. Never got a blanket or a call back. The blankets for the sofa bed smelled disgusting. The over all maintenance of the build was a joke. One example shape edges at the back door leading outside to the parking lot was damaged and not repair right. Someone could very easily cut themself on the metal if not paying attention. The hotel door to my room would not always close and latch shut, better confirm your room is wet secure. Then to top it all off they brought the most ragged stained up play pen for my infant I have ever seen. I was scared to even handle the pack and play. Had to wash my hands twice. Total let down since I was just bragging about my stays in Oklahoma at the Embassy in Tulsa and Norman.

Don't count on having your reservation respected.i made a 4 night reservation in late August for October 8th - 12th. We drove 500 miles and upon arrival was told that the hotel was full and I should stay somewhere else. And metaphorically pound sand. We did have a room the 9th-12th. The complimentary breakfast is excellent and the free happy hour drink was appreciated. There is a bar opens either at 11:00 or 5:00 depending on which bartender is working. The lady cleaning our room went above and beyond by placing our toiletries on a towel. Kudos to Yumika who made sure our checkout went smoothly and my bill accurate. She explained that the pending charge on my credit card (which included a $250 damage deposit) would be deleted and replaced by the accurate charge.
