Used to be our favorite hotel to stay when in Lebanon but recent staff is not very friendly. Total change from hospitality we were used to from old staff. No longer worth the premium price

Very Disappointed with My Stay – Not Up to Holiday Inn Standards
I’ve stayed at many Holiday Inns in the past, and unfortunately, this location was by far the most disappointing.
The Room:
It appeared as though the room hadn't been properly prepared—sheets and the comforter were untucked, and the bed looked slept in. The bathroom vent was not functioning, and the bathtub was clogged, forcing me to shower in standing water.
The Breakfast Experience:
While the food itself was acceptable, the experience left much to be desired. Around 7 AM, there was a line to get food, and surprisingly, staff members were also serving themselves at the same station as guests. In my past experience staff typically ate in a designated break room, separate from guests. Another staff member who was also getting breakfast was loudly speaking on speakerphone in a foreign language (possibly an Indian language), which was disruptive that early in the morning.
The Hallways:
There was a strong smell of incense throughout the hallways, which felt out of place for a Holiday Inn. It did not create a welcoming atmosphere.
The Front Desk:
At checkout, the front desk staff appeared uninterested and unwelcoming—no greeting, no smile, and no acknowledgment of my stay. I didn’t receive the courtesy or professionalism I’ve come to expect from this brand. Rude.
Final Thoughts:
Overall, this hotel did not meet the standards I’ve come to associate with Holiday Inn. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this location to others.
