    BEWARE: this hotel has roaches! Unfortunately, we went against our best judgement and stayed at this location after seeing the ratings were below a 4.0. While using the restroom in the middle of the night, a roach ran across the floor. Although we immediately reported the issue with proof to the front desk, nothing was done because only the manager (Hershey) could issue a refund. We weren’t even offered a different room. Instead, we were told we’d have to wait because Hershey only worked on weekdays and were given his email address. As of this posting, Hershey still hasn’t responded to our email. Zoom in and you’ll see the roach in the corner between the bathtub and door. Apparently this hotel has an ongoing roach issue because I’ve since seen that a previous patron mentioned encountering a roach during their stay also.

    Tru. 75% of the word, just like it's 75% of a good hotel room. If you don't need a microwave or space to step around another person, it's probably fine. They don't give you bottles of water anymore like the other Hiltons do, so you have to go downstairs and buy one of their reusable water bottles to fill up at the water fountain. But hey, if you're really into corporate cost saving chic, enjoy.

    I was looking for something new and near the Turkey Creek shopping area of Knoxville off of I-40 and the Tru by Hilton at Lovell Road was perfect. Don't expect top flight Service but the technology and comfortable beds were great, and it has 2 free 48 amp Tesla chargers!
