Would not recommend..I don't know how it got that high of rating. It is like a dorm room. The smell in hallway and room was disgusting. The sheets were very thin..just felt dirty! The fan on the heater ran all night and was loud, stains on towels and mold on shower door..small shower with a trickle for water pressure...I will never stay at one again. You get what you pay for. I will say the staff was very friendly and helpful. Come on Hilton you can do better I'll go back to the Marriott bonvoy brands

2-22-2026 The staff and Melanie the manager are fantastic! So friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. The bed was comfy and the pillows were soft but just right. The breakfast was scrambled eggs with bacon and then they switched to sausage. They had the typical cereals bagels, toast, pancakes, oatmeal and hard boiled eggs. They had multiple toppings for the oatmeal and pancakes. And the bonus of the breakfast was they offer gluten-free muffins and waffles.
Melanie, aka the duck lady, told us all about the rubber duck collection and that they are quite the talk of the town, guests come back just to see the new ducks or to bring them a new one. They have find and seek duck game that if you find one hidden you can turn it in for a prize! They also have duck contests throughout the year. It’s nice to see a hotel that is making your stay more fun and entertaining than just the average stay.
We will be back.

This was my first stay at a TRU and I enjoyed my stay. I felt the rooms were very adequate and comfortable. The staff were very pleasant and supportive. The gym was basic but I appreciate that a space was provide. I would certainly stay at TRU again in the future.

It’s very apparent that this is a well-managed hotel. From the moment I checked in with Sue and she had me giggling through the whole check-in process I knew it was going to be a good stay, but I didn’t expect to be as impressed as I am. Every housekeeper makes eye contact, smiles, and acknowledges you as you walk down the hallway, even though they’re obviously hard at work. Jay, who I assume is the Exec. Housekeeper, is on point and full of personality. Kudos to her for making conversation in the elevator instead of riding in awkward silence - that’s a skill she has mastered. What impressed me the most that you don’t see happen at many hotels anymore was the houseman outside cleaning the parking lot. He was too far from me for me to be able to see his name, unfortunately. But it was at that point when i decided to make a review on Google first. I still intend to complete the post-stay survey from Hilton, but I couldn’t resist the urge to leave these positive comments immediately instead of waiting.
