Lovely and clean hotel - excellent amenities, breakfast, customer service. Really enjoyed our stay here. Free parking and breakfast was a huge bonus. For the money, it’s a great hotel for value. Spotless rooms, hallways, common areas. Hotel looked like it was new. Very impressed.

I picked this spot because the reviews kept saying it was so clean. Negative: The bathroom shower was gross. That plastic flap that slides onto the shower door to keep the water out was pink and brown and the corner of the shower door was the same. Even my husband who is not usually bothered said that it was unsightly. Made the whole bathroom just feel dirty. The bed wasn’t very comfortable. But the pillows were plush so we slept okay. Positive: The staff was amazing. Sue tried to get us a new room but that bathroom also was not up to par. She was very kind and understanding, appreciated her trying to assist. The attendant in the morning kindly gave me the Advanced Stay customer service number to call to cancel my second night. CS was kind and acknowledged my issue and cancelled the reservation and issued a refund. Overall, if the bathroom were clean we’d likely stayed. But for the $250 we were to pay for the second night, it wasn’t worth the discomfort. Came to the Embassy Suites in West Knoxville that was more up to par for the price point.

I had an amazing experience with my stay at Tru. Due to unforeseen circumstances with my company, there was an error with my booking. Sue was professional and treated me with dignity as she overcame a major error. I was delightfully surprised by Tru and will be making more stays with their locations in the future due to this experience!!

Came to Knoxville with our high school football team for the 1st round of state championship playoffs. Gabbie greeted us and welcomed our team in. Our food had been delivered prior to our arrival and she had everything set up for us in the lobby. She gave us room in their storage for our gear. Everything was clean. The beds were good. The breakfast was good. If you have a team that needs a hotel, I believe this place will take care of you.

While on our way to Nashville, we decided to spend the night in Knoxville and as Hilton Honors members we live their Tru brand. This hotel is very clean and is conveniently located near several restaurants. It seems to have a very family-friendly lobby with a pool table. They have a cooler of free waters and I loved this perk. This easily could have been a 5-star stay except for check-in. There were 2 gentlemen checking in in front of us and it took forever (we stood something like 10 minutes behind them and were never acknowledeged in any way). Once it was our turn to check in, the last checking us in never smile, called us by our name, our acknowledged that we were Hilton Honors members. But, overall, I would definitely stay here again when traveling thru Knoxville
