  Friendly and clean value proposition with nice amenities and catchy decor. I don't know why anyone gave this property low marks. It's an older building, yes, but it has been completely gutted-to-the-studs renovated in a fresh and modern style, with very clean, modern rooms and extremely helpful staff. I will absolutely stay here again the next time I'm in Knoxville.

  Do not stay here. Already the motel is so much better than it was before, and the staff are fantastic, the drugged-out homeless have made this area unsafe for people ( especially women and children) and pets. Today we saw a car circling the parking lot, almost hitting several parked cars while the passengers were screaming obscenities out the windows. Then the car parked in the back lot and one passenger went over the interstate fence to the homeless camp there ( which is against the law), the homeless camp behind this motel and road is trashy along with the kudzu and weeds. The other passenger proceeded to keep screaming, she got out of the car and proceeded to dance, crawl, and scream all over the back parking lot. At one point this girl was humping her trunk while screaming obscenities. This went on for almost an hour. Some of the staff were outside and witnessed this but did nothing about it. One, the police should have been called immediately because the driver was high on something too, he could have hurt or killed someone the way he was driving, then the girl being high on whatever could have attacked someone. This motel is a homeless drop off for the ones living on the interstate bank. They are getting louder and more dangerous. You can’t safely park in the back lot or walk your dog here!! This is unacceptable to me. The work they put into this place was fantastic, used to be the best place to stay for the UT games and I’d hoped it would be again, but it’s completely unsafe here now.

  Paid 130$ for a room for one night and they have bed bugs so we checked out early. They refused to refund the money…and we were only there for a couple hours. Won’t be staying again! 🙄

  Pros Staff were so nice! Rooms clean and well taken care of. Pillows were amazing Cons Pet friendly so I assume a pet was in our room I had an allergic reaction. I did find some dog hair in corner so I assume it's floating in air. Room never cooled down so it was uncomfortable on top of reaction. Bed wasn't the most comfortable but it was ok. Neutral Breakfast (bagel and fruit) bar was ok. Not bad. They were good bagels but the toaster wasn't toasting so they were cold. Biggest take away is next time ensure no pets have been in the room. It was not fun itching and sneezing all night. Make sure your unit is cooling or heating as needed. I was asked about my stay I simply replied decent. It wasnt the worst but definitely not the best. I'm glad it was just a 1 night stay 2 stars for room as it was clean and inviting. Bonus star for being budget friendly Staff and location 5 stars! Overall 3 stars for the whole stay. Had I paid more than I did it would be a 2 star.

  I’m glad we chose Spark by Hilton to stay while being in Knoxville. The drive wasn’t too far from where we were visiting. The room was very clean. The staff were very nice especially the night shift employee. The ONLY issue we had were the people who stayed next to us seemed to have partied all night long but we didn’t complain because we wanted them to enjoy their stay there too.
