  First I want to shout out Laura & Savannah! at the Knoxville location. I was there with my boyfriend for a Christmas vacation 2025, the first interaction I had was NICE and professional and genuinely made me feel safe with the choice we made to stay there. After our stay, I had left 3 pairs of shoes there, I contacted them & they were able to resolve MY mistake swiftly and kindly. Talking to both of these women was such a great experience and were able to put my mind at ease. Shout out to those 2 women and THEY DESERVE A RAISE!

  Ever since I found out that I can come and enjoy breakfast for $5 without being an overnight guest, I have become a regular. I stop in a couple times a week to jumpstart my day. I LOVE the staff. Jebbi is always so nice and attentive. I now recommend all of my out of town guest to stay here. Thank you holiday inn

  We are locals who frequently visit the restaurant. The food here is excellent and surprises folks who stay here. We wish this place was everywhere we stay when we travel. Nice clean bar and good food. A traveler would appreciate not having to look for food or a drink after a day of travel.

  Checked in late. Got up to shower and the shower was dirty. Someone's pube right by the soap and shampoo dispenser. Also, they charged for the Continental breakfast. What? The food was awful as well. Talked to the front desk about the shower. They shrugged it off. Told them I was on the fifth floor and went to get ice, ice machine was out. They said go to fourth floor. When we're on the road holiday inn Express only place we stay. But not if this is how it is now.

  I would say this was an average hotel stay. I did like that it was clean and modern. I only came across one front desk employee that wasn’t super friendly and very short and a matter of fact when I came to her with a couple of issues. I do get things happen but I just didn’t like her attitude especially for some working at a front desk. Everyone else we came in contact with at the front desk and the bar were very nice. Housekeeping was very bare minimum. They did change out the towels but did not throw away trash and two nights they made the bed (kind of lol) but the second night they didn’t. Looks like they just came in changed the towels real quick and left. One of the nights we did lose satellite because of high winds and the next night it was spotty. Yes that is out of their control but it would be fixed with having upgraded tv’s with web tv services. Our last night we arrived around 7:30pm and were going to get a drink at the bar which is supposed to close at 9pm and they were already cleaning up and told us they were closing early because it was slow. Our last night especially probably because it was going into Monday morning we heard a lot of car noises from the highway that’s right behind the hotel. It kept us up for a bit so I had to put white noise on my phone to drown it out. So keep that in mind if you are a light sleeper. The area is in close proximity to downtown Knoxville and university of Tennessee BUT it’s also surrounded by a lot of homeless people. We were approached by someone clearly on some sort of substance as we were sitting outside of the restaurant and I did not feel safe sitting out there for longer than 30 minutes. So bottom line, it’s a clean modern hotel that’s affordable and close proximity to downtown but it has its drawbacks. We personally won’t stay here again.
