    Paid $170 for one night and left disappointed. The rooms were very standard — nothing updated or special for that price. You can’t turn the AC below 66 degrees, which was frustrating and uncomfortable. Breakfast cost $7 but was the same quality as the free breakfasts you get at other hotels. For that price, I expected better amenities and more value.

    Nice and well maintained hotel. Comfy room. Next to the interstate, so it's noisy. Nice dining options close by. Bar on site was a nice surprise.

    I went to another hotel that asked for a $200 cash deposit for being a Knox resident, even though it was due to the weather and my apartment not having hot water or working water pipes. When I headed to Holiday Inn, I was told there was a $50 deposit, which made me feel better. The front desk personnel, Savanah, was terrific and made us feel comfortable and confident about our decision to stay there. The next morning, Reina helped us with breakfast and made us feel at home. We will be using Holiday Inn again if any pipes are broken or there are home issues. Thank you for having a great staff!

    We stay one night. The ladies at the front desk were great. Just wish I would have taken there names. The room were very clean and nice. We didn't have any meals, so we can't talk about that. We would would go back.

    This hotel should be removed from IHG databases. -- I’ve been a member of IHG One Rewards for many years. When I need a hotel room for my travels, this is the first place I look for a hotel. IHG has been wonderful and the hotels are always clean and fresh to stay at. In January 2026 I was traveling for 2 weeks and because of the snowstorm that came through East Tennessee, I could not get back to my house due to the horrible road conditions at the time. I was able to book a room at this Holiday Inn Knoxville N - Merchant Drive by IHG (located at 5634 Merchants Center Blvd, Knoxville, TN 37912) for about 5 minutes. As soon as I got my confirmation in the email that all is good to go, I received a call from this hotel telling me that I’m not welcomed there! I asked as to why and the explanation I was given was that they DO NOT allow local residence within a 50-mile radius to stay there. Disappointed to say the least, I booked a room at a different hotel just minutes from this location.
