On a group trip to and from WASHINGTON DC, WE STAYED HERE TWICE IN April. On the last trip, the air conditioner was not working. The work staff said nothing could be done. I finally asked for a fan and was brought one about 8 inches in diameter. So needless to say WE WERE HOT ALL NIGHT. THE NEXT MORNING I TOLD THE FRONT DESK PERSON AND SHE ASKED WHY I WASNT MOVED TO ANOTHER ROOM. I told her they said there were no other rooms. WHICH SHE SEEMED SURPRISED. I ASK FOR THE MANGER AND WAS TOLD SHE DIDNT COME In until 9 AM AND WE WERE LEAVING AT 7. I ask for a credit for my room and was told NO. I THEN ASK FOR THE MANAGERS NAME (BRANDY)AND THE OWNERS NAME (AKSHAY.)
I TOLD OUR TOUR BUS DIRECTOR, SO HOPEFULLY THEY WILL NOT STAY THERE ANY LONGER. I SUGGEST NO ONE STAY THERE AT ALL. NOT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE.

This is an older hotel that has been renovated. It was clean, nice and I would recommend it. The location is outstanding with a large selection of good restaurants close by.
It is only three floors and no waiting for the one elevator. Ice machines are on each floor.
The free breakfast is not bad. Very typical of what you would expect from a far more expensive hotel. I particularly liked the Nescafe coffee maker. I got a vanilla latte.
Only downsides were in bathroom. Wood peeling from to bottom of a door and shower head was loose. Nothing major though. Just a little rough in small spots.
Service was excellent and friendly.
I would definitely stay here again.

I thought the reviews for this place were decent and decided to book. The price is decent and for the price I really just expect a safe and clean place to rest. Unfortunately, this hotel didn’t meet that standard. The first room I was assigned had a very distinct odor. The second room had a dirty bedspread, sheets with holes, and some sticky substance on the toilet seat. Also the “blackout” curtains do very little to block out the light. The air conditioning sounds like an epic sea battle in Percy Jackson and the Olympians all night and you are on the losing side. If you can get past the light and noise you still probably won’t sleep, I felt like Barney Rubble missing a sabertooth pelt in the hard as a rock bed. The free breakfast has a decent variety but the area wasn’t clean.

An older property but clean with a friendly staff. Their hot breakfast bar on Sunday with bacon was delicious. The two young ladies who were the breakfast hosts kept the breakfast foods stocked and cleaned constantly. They have a great coffee machine that offers different coffees and cappuccinos. An ice machine was available on each floor. There were also restrooms in the hallway on each floor. I would stay here again.
Breakfast includes waffles, cold cereal, instant oatmeals, a yogurt dispenser with toppings like nuts or granola. Powdered scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, bacon or sausage alternating, toaster for bagels and bread, mini muffins, biscuits and gravy, juice, regular and almond milk, coffee machine with espresso and hot chocolate options, tea, apples and oranges. Honestly picked this hotel for the breakfast because my kids love to eat lol the coffee machine is available all the time and they put out cookies too. You can text with the desk staff and they always answered promptly and politely. You have to request housekeeping but we didn't need it daily and I sent a text and got the room cleaned quickly. Room is fine in my opinion. Not mega fancy but not trashy either. Microwave and fridge worked fine. Its about 15min from the zoo and downtown. It was around $475 for 4 nights. I would honestly stay here again, its not a bad place. The only issue i had was parking. I have a special needs child and 2 of the afternoons there was nowhere to park in the front because of some conferences going on so there was blocked off spaces or spaces taken up by business people. I didnt like leaving my car in the back where I couldn't see it from the window but everything ended up being fine.
