  If you stay at this hotel, all I have to say is...watch your bill. I have never in my entire life been charged for a damage fee at a hotel. I barely use anything when I stay. I was charged a $70 damage fee 11 days after my stay and this hotel did not notify me, refuses to say what it is for, there is no record of this in my account, and when I called the main Holiday Inn customer service line, the manager lied to them and said my complaint was "taken care of" when it wasn't. I have no idea how many guests stayed in that room in 11 days. Despite multiple calls to Holiday Inn corporate customer service, their response was "I guess you'll have to dispute it with your bank". They even refused to answer the phone for them after multiple attempts. The staff is unprofessional as they act like they are doing you the favor by answering the phone and they don't identify themselves and when they transfer you, don't even tell you who/why they are transferring and the other party answers "hello" and you have no idea what their role is in assisting you. The room was freezing, it was missing several normal comfort items normally included in the stay. So the management of this hotel has ZERO accountability by Holiday Inn for fraudulent charges. Makes you wonder where that money is going if they don't have a record of what it's for. I will never, ever use any hotel from this corporation again.

  My family and I took a trip to Gatlinburg, TN, for New Year's Eve/day. We live in Marin, N.C. While on the way back, our car broke down on the side of the road. The road was called James H. Qullien Parkway, TN. It was cold and my elderly mother, grandparents, and two small dogs were in the car. My grandmother needs oxygen so we needed to get help. The wrecker and the State Trooper drove us to the Holiday Inn in Johnson City, TN. The front desk associate named Dani was sweet, attentive, and helped us with everything we needed. Dani was working hard during our entire stay. Dani made us feel at home and at ease during this hard time. Thank you Dani so much. Also the Bartender associate in the restaurant made amazing drinks. She was also amazing. 💓

  We hosted the BST Video Game Convention on Saturday November 8th, 2025. We had both convention halls. They had a great staff, and helped us tremendously with all of our needs as far as the convention hall. They took care of the rooms and bathrooms as needed. The bartenders were great too! Thanks to Jake, Karla, Izzy, Katie, & Taylor. -Justin
