The only reason we gave this review 2 stars was that the staff was friendly. That being said, our stay was incredibly problematic from the start.
Upon room assignment, we were given directions to the elevators from the front desk staff member and quickly discovered they were both out of order. (SIDE NOTE, The elevators last inspection was 10/2024 and expired 10/2025). We were put on the 6th floor. We found a staircase with the help of other guests. To our surprise, we got to the 6th floor and the door to the floor was locked. We went down one floor, walked to the other staircase on the other side of the hotel. Come to find out the 6th floor door was ALSO locked on that side. We ended up taking the service elevator without permission to get to our floor and room. When we notified the front desk about the journey it took us to get to our room we got hit with “oh yeah I forgot about that” and were then instructed to just keep taking the service elevator which required us to walk through the staff hallways to access.
The pictures online do not look like what the rooms appear to be. They were clean and had the necessary amenities but nothing special nor what we were expecting based on online photos.
Unfortunately, we decided not to trust the free breakfast nor did we opt for housekeeping as it just gave a general uneasy feeling.
Again, the staff was friendly and we understand that a lot of these issues are very much out of their control. But we were very disappointed in our stay and even considered moving hotels on our first night.

Hotel needs renovation in the worst way (see photos). Paid extra for breakfast that was horrible on day 1, had to find a server in the kitchen. Day two we tried again, there was no juice and we walked out. Spoke to the assistant general manager about the lack of menu to order from and buffet that was very advertised in the room, elevator, sandwich sign in lobby etc. As a result we ate elsewhere and didn't use 4 out of 5 breakfast coupons. The asst general manager took our room and cellphone number with the promise to call. That was day 2 we are checking out in the am (day 5). Staff exhibited a malaise and most queries we answered l do not know or l am new. Manager was never on site for our entire stay. We have stayed in IGH hotels for over 40 nights this year alone and are diamond members, this was our worst stay ever.
Recieved responce to this review, still waiting on call requested on several occasions to staff at front desk

I just want to say that Anastasia is an amazing manager and very patient and compassionate. I had an issue with my booking and she did not hesitate to help me navigate it and provide me support to make sure my daughter’s birthday was not ruined. Thank you
