  Okay location, helpful staff, good price, very spacious room with good balcony view and good breakfast. However, the facility is a bit aged and the towers clean really needs to be improved.

  This 5-star rating is heavily weighted by the $53 per night I paid. Absolutely a great choice!!! As a loyal Marriott member, this was a gamble of a booking but it was indeed a great booking decision. Pros: Price. Location. Free parking. Creekside. Balcony. Staff super nice. Really great coffee. Room was as basic as can be but newly remodeled and clean. Breakfast (that we didn’t eat) looked good enough. The parking lot is lit up like an NFL stadium and visible by everyone so security seems good there. This was our first time at an outside-entry hotel in decades and I don’t love that part but it was necessary here for the small acreage of the place for everyone to have a creekside view and balcony. There are no rooms on the first floor and no windows on the parking lot side so it felt secure. No real cons but worth noting: The pool looks sus when closed in the off-season and the overall curb appeal is lacking. The lobby smells stale but not horrible. I would definitely stay here again especially in the off-season for under $100. It was absolutely as good as another hotel that would have cost at least double here. This is Gatlinburg, not Maui so with some perspective and adjusting of expectations, I can absolutely recommend this hotel. We had a super getaway!!

  I have been staying here for several years. I give it a 5 star review, with the mindset that I am staying in a hotel. The price, location and cleanliness of the room is perfect for the long weekend getaway. Regular visitor of the area, we usually rent a cabin for 4 plus days of staying, but the weekend trips between the extended stays, we love this place.

  So sad. This place has so much potential. The room we had, double queen with 4 person chair and a pull out sofa (703). Instead it was dirty, broken and neglected. This place looks like it likes to put bandaids on bullet holes. Forgot my slippers and now must by new socks as they will never ever come clean!!!

  I have stayed here on two separate occasions, with one having an issue with a smoke detector beep that wouldnt shut off, so I had to personally dismantle the detector myself since the manager wasnt there that weekend. Besides that small inconvenience that I took care of and the manager offering a discount by phone afterwards, I actually really enjoy this hotel. The staff is very friendly, and helpful with questions about the town. Parking can get tough if you check in very late, but the one guy who works there made sure I got a spot, as he moved a cone for me to make sure I was accommodated. Both of my stays, the rooms had a nice balcony overlooking the river below, with a nice bed, a kitchen table, & many tv stations to choose from. If you are staying in late October I would not leave your balcony door open, as a few yellowjackets will make there way in. I walked from my hotel to the downtown Gatlinburg area in no time, so I saved on parking and enjoyed my time those weekends. As with most places around here, watch out for bears and close the doors to the staircases.
