Facility outstanding. Unfortunately staff not the same quality.
Arrived late around midnight due to car problems. Front desk acted like I was an inconvenience on the verge of rude. I give them a pass on that as I was not in the best of moods.
When got to our lodging found no parking anywhere near. Drove in search of parking and found was too far for me walk (75 yrs old)Called front desk but got no answer so drove down to lobby to see if I could get a ride from the lot to my room.
Was told yes so drove back up. Passed a security vehicle and guard talking to guest as I drove to park. He had left his door open and had to come close it for me to pass. Parked and waited about 15 minutes before deciding to try walk. About 3/4 of the way the security guard drives up and says "are you the one needing a ride.
SO BAD START.
All would have been well as had a nice time until the final night.
Saturday night they had an activity called Memories. A picture shoot at the picturesque Mt.Top fire pit. Shuttled. to the fire pit by sales office by mistake and went to activity center to be told was in the wrong place. Went to Mt.Top fire pit and found no one except a couple guests who said they had not seen any staff. Called activity center and was told someone would come back.About 30 minutes later the girl from the center arrived and took pictures
Was told they would be available tomorrow morning.
After checking out dropped by the activity center and was told the machine for pictures was out of order and could I come back Tuesday. Told them no and was told they would send them to me.
Waited about 10 days and then called to follow up. Was told they had to replace machine and the pictures were sent the previous days
Waited another 10 days. Called again asking for manager and was told he was not working and they would have him call me the next day.(Previously had asked to speak to him but was told he was in a meeting (Friday) and they would have him call me after he got out, which turned out to be the following Monday
He returned my call a day and a half after this last time and told me the employee had been let go and since I had asked for scenic photos (SARCASTIC) would that be ok.
He was laughing and made light of the situation until I voiced the level of my concern.
BAD ENDING

FIrst off I would NOT recommend a time share here!!!We were told we would have a Buffett lunch which ended up being pastas. They gentleman we had was great but he wouldn't take the answer no. Then the female manager that came over was about as fake as she could be,brining over different offers. I still said no.This lady would not stop until finally told her I am done. We were told it was a 90 min presentation and Hours later I'm still saying no!
When someone says NO accept it and stop! They asked if they gave us a week to come back and stay would I? Hell no! You didn't listen the whole time I said no! I would no recommend putting yourself through this. I did get my 40 back they took off my card and 50 in cash, plus 2 tickets. To put yourself through all that bullshit I was ready to walk away with nothing!

A nice property but not pedestrian friendly with very steep roads a zero sidewalks. There are shuttles constantly running up and down the hills and there is a trolley stop near the entrance that will take you into Gatlinburg - highly recommended because driving is a nightmare and parking anywhere is expensive. The restaurant, Southern Comfort, on-site was a nice surprise and allowed up to avoid eating in town completely. Stayed in a small one bedroom. The kitchen is tiny with less than one square foot of workspace - the rest is absorbed by a huge microwave. I generally have low expectations for kitchen equipment but this reached a new low - the chef knife literally brand new - had to peel the plastic off was unusably dull. The sink handle fell off. On the plus side staying in the buildings 5000-8000 at the top of the property had great views.

Beautiful, well maintained multi-building timeshare resort on a mountain side. Check-in desk and bar/food locations at bottom. Check-ins on Friday afternoons are chaotic with little to no parking near lobby. And they make you wait at the attractions ticket seller desk to get your room key. Crazy process (resort must get money from the ticket sales). Note: Weekends in Gatlinburg are extremely busy with backed-uo traffic on the main drag. The higher the building number your room is located, the higher up the steep mountain you must drive (and better the view). Getting up and down is not easy with no dedicated walkway; however they do offer a convenient shuttle that comes by about every 20 minutes. The resort has its own stop for the free Gaitlinburg trolley to get downtown for the attractions and restaurants. Downtown is very walkable (unlike Pigeon Forge).

DO NOT DO THE TIMESHARE TOUR.... I agreed for the discounted Anakeesta tickets, 3 night stay and $150 dollars. I was told it would take and hour and a half, my family and I would get a buffet for lunch and the above mentioned things. The buffet was 3 different pastas (no meat) and a salad (lettuce and cherry tomatoes). The meal was free, that was nice but not as described. The entire thing ended up taking 4 hours. We walked around the property and talked a long time. I had told the girl in the beginning I was not interested but she asked that I keep an open mind so I did. At the end the manager came over, he went from a $23,000 down payment and a $1700 monthly fee to a $300 down payment and $151 a month payment. I said no again... This was after 5 different offers being brought to me. A third guy came over and offered me another deal. I politely said no amount of money is in my budget, my only answer is no. I would never own a piece of property that I used 2 times a year with 20+ other people. After that, I was given my paperwork to go to the "gift room". I was not given the money but I did receive the Anakeesta tickets and the free stay for 2 nights, not 3 and no $150 as promised. I was OK with it because honestly i just wanted OUT of there. I hated every second of it. You have to really be firm over and over and over again. When you decline, you are treated like you are inept. Anyway, just a heads up to what you actually getting in to when you agree to this tour. Anakeesta was nice though haha!
I will add that the girl that gave us the tour was very nice and was personable. She did a great job at selling the idea. She was never rude to me. The managers were just doing their job I guess of selling property but enough with the offers and pressure. No should be enough 1 or 2 times!
