Room was clean. Balcony full of cigarette butts on the floor. Housekeeping could've easily picked them up. Furniture housing the refrigerator needs replacing. Fridge temp is off, no matter how much I adjusted it, it still froze my baby's formula. Breakfast was good. I mistakenly left my kids off the reservation so I had to call the front desk to update our breakfast tickets, her tone was very rude. Other than that all the rest of the staff was friendly. The lobby was beautifully decorated. The shared microwave by the elevators on our floor needs replacing. The plate wiggles and wobbles loudly the whole time it's spinning. The indoor pool is nice, but not clean. On the edges of the lower level pool, there were clumps of hair and dirty bandaids. Staff could easily periodically clean the edges of the pool or skim out people's hair, but instead they wait until the pool closes at midnight to clean up. Overall I'd give it a 3/5.

I had a wonderful experience staying at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The staff was extremely friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with anything we needed. The room was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The beds were cozy, the bathroom was spotless, and we had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The hotel itself was quiet, safe, and in a great location, making it very convenient to get around and enjoy nearby attractions. One thing I really appreciated was the attention to detail and how well the hotel is taken care of. It truly made us feel comfortable and at home. This stay made our trip even more enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, great service, and an overall excellent experience.

Upon arrival they did not have our room ready which we arrived at 3:30 & check-in was 4. We understood that we were 30mins early so we decided to wait in the lobby. I had to go to the counter 3 times & finally at 5pm I was getting frustrated because it was now an hour after check-in & they still hadn't made it to our room yet to clean it. Finally they gave us another room on a lower level. The room itself was clean & spacious but the bathroom was tiny, I felt like I was in a cramped motel bathroom when I needed to go or shower. Also the sliding glass door did not seal properly so one night when it was really windy out we were woken up to howling coming through the door, it sounded like a tornado was coming in the room. The location of the hotel has nice views of Gatlinburg & its walking distance to town but I wouldn't recommend trying to walk down because there is no safe route, you have to walk down a steep winding road that isn't very wide. One evening I went to the restaurant in the lobby to order a pizza & take it back to our room for the kids. You would think being at a Hilton restaurant that the food quality would match the cost but it didn't, I basically paid $36 for a Pizza Hut style pizza & they also tried to charge a room service fee of $8 which I disputed that as I did not use room service I went down ordered the pizza paid for it and picked it up all by myself so why in the world would they charge a room service fee. I feel like the Hilton has lost their standard of exceptional service & its disappointing. When we visit the area again we will more than likely stay elsewhere.

Positives: Nice view even in a partial view room (but you can go lots of places in Gatlinburg to get a great view) The pool (in theory only because I did not go to it) Negatives: Walking - You cannot walk from your hotel anywhere because it's up a steep driveway. You are forced to use the trolley. The trolley situation would be fine if there weren't massive amounts of people getting on them and they only start at 10:30am in the winter. Parking - You must pay to park every night ($18). If you drive into town expect to pay $20 and stay there the whole day. Expect to park far from the hotel entrance as well. Noise - The shower was obnoxiously loud from (I assume) incorrect design from a vent being directly behind the wall of the shower The vibration from the pipes would make it loudly rattle. It was so loud that the whole floor could probably hear it - likely even the floors below and above us as well... Speaking of noise, if you are a light sleeper, bring earplugs in case there is a lot of wind from being on the mountain (usually there is at least some wind) because all of the holes in the patios that will whistle all the time. Thankfully it wasnt too windy during our stay and our stay wasn't very long. Water/snacks - You are forced to purchase any water or snacks in the lobby because the vending machines on the floor do not work and then expect to pay whatever price they sell it for because you can't go into town to get anything else. Wifi - Not included in your reservation. Either you have to be a member or you will need to pay for it. Fire pit - The firepit seems to be only lit in the evening which is unfortunate because we were hoping to enjoy the fire at less crowded times because there are only a few chairs and one firepit. Overall - The whole place did not feel like a Double Tree AT ALL. Not on par with their brand and I would not recommend this location. There are much better places to stay than this facility that are walkable to town.

Ima start by saying im not a fan how step the drive his to get to the hotel... Every time we travel we stay at a Hilton normally embassy suites by hilton. This time we decided to stay here. What really upset me the most is we stayed and the second or third day the house keeper decided not to clean our room. Originally she came and my husband told her give us 10mins... we didn even take 10mins. When we walk out we seen a housekeeper in the next room over. We let her know we was leaving out.. She responded and said it wasn't her room but the lady responsible should be back, she also stated how they had alot of rooms and how they had 55 a peice like its my fault... I feel like thats not professional to be telling a guest how much work load she has.. normally I dont even ask for my room to be clean because my husband is OCD WE BRING floral and lysol and clean the room our self. We just wanted & our bed lien change.. unfortunately the housekeeper never came back to even do that during our stay... Also the breakfast is not included in this hotel like at embassy. Breakfast here for 3 ppl its 64 dollars and its not as good as embassy breakfast so that was a waste the only thing good was the omlet... My son love the indoor pool that was the only thing we enjoy with staying here.. When we first arrive to our room we didnt smell any type of cleanliness. I notice when we walk into the hotel it smell like a pet smart to me.. smell like dog bm. .. I won't stay here when traveling to gatlinburg again.. Will be looking at other hiltons most likely embassy suites by hilton or tru by hilton.
