The room attendants were great; we always had fresh towels. They have started charging for parking, which was new since my last visit. That really gets expensive if you have a large group.

The views from the hotel are breathtaking, especially with the Smoky Mountains surrounding the property. The room was clean, comfortable, and very well-maintained, and the overall cleanliness of the hotel made our stay even better. The amenities — especially the indoor pool and relaxing lobby area — added to the comfort. One unique part of our visit was the caution signs about bears in the area. And to our surprise, we actually saw a bear on our way, which made the trip even more memorable and gave us a true Smoky Mountain experience (from a safe distance, of course!). The location is perfect — close to downtown Gatlinburg but still quiet and away from the busy tourist spots. Overall, Park Vista offered a perfect mix of comfort, nature, and outstanding views. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Gatlinburg!

- CDCharlotte DavidsonOct 30, 20252.0I have stayed at PV for 25 yrs with 3 different owners. Watched with fright when the fire several years ago got so close. We have always loved it here. The staff, by majority, has always been phenomenal. But the building itself is showing its age. It needs repairs. We had started to notice a couple of years ago but last week, entering #1416, our room had not been cleaned well as evident of a plastic bowl and cup sitting in the sink. The shower floor with a long black hair. The carpet was shredded across the threshold at the door. The coffee maker smelled musty. The balcony with black coating. Was our sheets even changed? Should have complained but we knew with the eye conference going on, we would get a leftover room. Room #1416 is THE room with the best view. So we did the best we could with our hand sanitizer and soap. It was just one night. And that made us realize to find another place to stay for quick getaways and longer only being 4 hrs away. Disappointed and sad to say that. I will miss what it use to be and if it ever gets the improvements it needs, we will definitely be back. Thanks for the memories. Look at that view!
